That is shepard dude |
i doubt it: Spoiler: | shepard wasnt wearing armor when he died, my armor was a different color and that he didnt die in some rubble but on the 'roof' of the citadel, i have difficulty believing thats shepard. (yes i understand thats SUPPOSED to be shepard, but it just doesnt make sense) |

Aye, I knew about the N7 Warfare gear .. but I didn't know it was part of the CE, only a preorder bonus, so when Dezz said "no CE armour" - I only answered with what I knew of directly from CE
The Conrad bug can also be fixed by using Gibbed's editor - since BioFail accidentally set the Conrad flag TWICE; enabled for "Paragon Conrad" and enabled for "Renegad Conrad" -- and the game itself only read the Renegade option. None of the imported decisions had any real weight and a lot of them were just plain ignored or even retconned to fit in with BioWhore's interpretation - why? Because fuck you, that's why. Choice and consequences, eh? Sorry Neon, I *have* to post it again, I have to. It's imperative.
Now they've abandoned ME3-SP like a bad smell (fitting...) and are what? Talking about putting out MP DLC? Stay classy, BioWere. Don't worry guys, I don't plan on returning to this thread. I downloaded, I played, I finished, I LOL'ed, I'm done. RIP BioWare.

Doubt all you want, it's shepard.
Spoiler: | And he was wearing a armor, it was destroyed by the reaper blast |

The error is on my side then sorry, it is indeed a pre-order only.

After finishing this masterpiece I simply can't wait for Mass Effect 4... please BioNOwere make it even better and more awsume than ME3. Maybe ME4 could be DLC for ME3.

no it couldnt, since theres virtually zero connectivity to any of the previous bloody games.
far as im concerned, me3 is utterly standalone, and thats whats currently killing the fuck out of a huge part of my enjoyment of it

all the groundwork i did, building alliances, bringing together a team to defeat the reapers, discovering information... it was all for nothing. me3 basically starts you from scratch all over again, and you feel all your accomplishments in the first 2 games were for nothing. all the "friendships" all the sacrifices... meaningless... and i refuse to believe im the ONLY one that feels this way. ME3 feels like a total restart, where ive changed nothing during the past 2 games.
and yes i know that the game likes to reference past events and such, but its not even remotely enough. i cant say it enough, i honestly do not feel that in me3, everything i did in me1 and 2 even matters.
i feel like if i played a new character instead of shep, id basically be in exactly the same position as i am when playing my carry-over shep, put it that way.

The team building exercise in ME2 was for the threat presented in that game. You fucked the reaper, you won. The council did not believe more reapers were coming. At the end of Arrival (I didn't play it), you apparently 'cause' mass genocide, so Shepard is in custody when you start ME3. The team is gone, since there is no reaper threat anymore according to the council. The ship is gone since you're considered a mass murderer. In ME3 your goal is not team building, it's bringing the different species together (which are fighting for their own cause now).
It is easy writing at times, but it makes sense imo. As for savegame importing and references, there are a lot of small details and comments all over the place. Savegame importing in ME2 was a joke imo, so this is a welcome surprise.

I had to take a break after that.
After believing in them saying Mordin had a "too small role" to justify bringing in the old voice actor, I just wanted to hit them.

Shepard is not in custody for ''mass murderer'', he needs to stand court to clarify his action why he destroyed a mass relay that killed an entire race (batarians).
By this dlc i don't understand Spoiler: | why the Mass Effect 3 relays gets destroyed and why the normandy (for sample) didn't get destroyed.
1 relay kiled an entire system, if all relays gets destroyed then the galaxy is dead. So the ending from mass effect 3 does not make sense at all |

How is that not mass murder? According to the council his actions caused mass murder, so he's a mass murderer.

honestly, i dont really care what reasoning you come up with to justify biowares convoluted story ideas, all im saying is that to me, it doesnt feel meaningfully connected. as i said earlier, i feel as if i could be playing any random character and STILL have things playing out the same way as i am while playing as my imported shep. to me, the cohesion between me2 and 3 just isnt there.

Indeed... he didn't wipe out an entire race as Twinny said though. Wouldn't that have been an oopsie.

I'm not trying to justify anything since I do not agree with your sentiment that something is wrong. I find the story a proper continuation of the previous games (if you've imported a savegame that is). My expectations weren't very high in this department though since I think Bioware was always "just OK" with writing a story. I guess I'm more forgiving than others.
PS. as for my reasoning, that's just what happened in the previous games. Nothing to reason.

Ah I see now. The term genocide is misplaced in this context obviously. It was meant to be mass murder.

Heh it's the background 2D sprites (famous from Dragon Age, for Bioware at least.) interesting to see they're still used here.
(Then again the backdrop on most areas you visit is also in 2D and very static, usually it's hidden somewhat but it's still rather easy to notice, same with the sky box if I remember correctly.)
EDIT: Wait they might be just low-poly and highest-mipmap textured.
(Like the spectators in Oblivion's arena for example or crowds in many recent racing games.)

It's a bit strange such a big budget title can have scenes like that left in. It's not exactly hidden either, it's right in your face when you visit the purgatory area. I don't remember such things from the previous games. It's like someone thought "we'll put some crowds and shit here" when development began and just forgot.
While I do enjoy the game, after playing this and DA2 I lost all hope for Bioware. I don't see how DA3 can be anything but pure shit. A pessimistic guy might think Bioware is just trolling customers now.
Atleast we have the critical professional reviews pointing out the mistakes in both games. If it wasn't for critical gaming journalism, all hope would've been truly lost for any kind of improvement. All the critical reviews this game got surely scared the shit out of Bioware. It was all very hardcore and shit, critical, very critical.
