Dumb question: Have EA done something about the fact that no one with GF4 gfx card can play the game?
It didn´t work on the demo... have they changed it for the full game?

No it has been known for 2 months that GF4 wont be able to play the game due to they lack pixel shader.

No it has been known for 2 months that GF4 wont be able to play the game due to they lack pixel shader. |
can anyone plz explain me what is "Pixel Shader" ?

They are not called EA servers.. but they are authenticated.. each country has some.. even if its not under the EA name..
You cant set up a ranked server without EA.. they aint paid for by EA.. but the ISPS who set them up are in close contact with EA

So where do i play online? Is there any good servers not checking for cd-keys? Never played original BF so go ahead and call me a n00b
Should i use Eye in the skye or something?

BTW, anyone else using a VLT key and being able to play on every EA server? The only servers that seem to let me play are the friggin' EA servers out of all of them! LOL, crazy stuff, not getting a "Invalid CD-Key" error either. Maybe they're just hoarding IP addresses w/ keys that end in "VLT" and massing a huge FBI sting or something. *shrug*

Yeah, I found that out too once I created a login name. I thought it would've been similar to BF1942 (never played BF:V) and you could change your nick... but I guess not! So now I'm stuck w/ a stupid nick that I created just to login. =\

trick for play with 64 Gamers in Singleplayer
search: BF2/mods/bf2/ai than open aidefault.ai with Wordpad
read the instructions and change:
rem aiSettings.overrideMenuSettings 1
rem aiSettings.setMaxNBots 32
rem aiSettings.maxBotsIncludeHumans 0
rem aiSettings.setBotSkill 1.0
delete the rem before the aiSettings... and change 32, in 48, 64 so you want
so now start game and you can play with more bots... |
