Interesting view point on how endings should look like. SPOILERS.

Distroing Mass Relay will probably not end space travel.
In Arrival i don't know but was there a sentence that reaching that system will take a month's
(after destroying Mass Relay) i don't know ME lore that good. Normandy is capable of space travel with speed faster then light to another star systems.
Original ending is not written to well. I have no problem with Shepard Dieing. I think Shepard should die heroic way. Those endings are like from Final Fantasy games. It's like ending fallout 1 or 2 vs ending fallout 3... only MUCH WORST. It's like 10 year old made this ending.
That guy in the video made a few good points.
Edit: found this, don't know if it is legit or not but if it is then ME3 is a big money business to rip off their customers.

I wouldn't really be surprised if that rumour about "The Truth" was true.
Remember Prince of Persia (2008) ? Real ending was a DLC for PS3 and X360.
Then again the ending without DLC made sense. It was sad, but it made sense.

WTH guys. I understand that MANY people doesnt like the ending but its just an self powered engine of rage now.
I really liked the ending and enjoyed the game MUCH. But after reading all the rage in every corner of the internet I came to some consulsions.
First - I dont like it as much as I was before all this rage shit.
second - Just WOW. It is otrageus. People who liked the game are condemned to feel like derps. Especially people who liked the ending. Why all the care for the ending? What were people possibly expecting?
Normal person, aware of how gaming world works, would totally expect ending with massive plot holes. Its not like games are new thing
i say that people set their expectations way to high for what it can possibly be from technical and marketing pov(MILKIING THE GENRE with dlc is so obvious these days that I can't belive people are still suprised).
I will stand behind it. maybe its not best mass effect ever (its kinda worst me) but It is still very good game which ended with some thought put into it. its not just BAM BAM - dead reapers
And the petitions and all that stuff? Thats pathetic beyond sanity. Please oh game developers - make ME3 ending so only reapaz diez

The people dont cry because they want a "happier" ending they cry because there are logical flaws in the ending.
Well here is a major flaw.
Remember the catalyst needs to connect to the giant weapon. Shepard gets a lift up and why does he not use a mask/breather when he talks with that kid ? he is in open air now and can just breath in space ?
imo the endings ruin the entire series for me...
Pretty sure i am not going to pick up the ME trilogy to play again... will be dust collector -.-
After all the choices u get in the trilogy.. and then that ending... It would have been fine if they built a bit upon it like... what happened afterwards, like in fallout 1 and 2 where u got some stories about the future u had shaped...
Instead here they just fuck you over for the future game installments where they want to start fresh or maybe they just were lazy assholes. Will reconsider buying their games after this and the DA2 disappointment.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories about the ending and possbile future dlc, but I doubt it. It seems all too complex for the majority of console gaming peasants.

Man..this is a big budget appeal-to-all-but-mostly-teenagers game and you pushing-thirty folks expect this to be a Bergman flick in terms of story depth. I'm sure we'll find out who, what and why Reapers are in an upcoming ISO demo DLC.
