how are your petrol prices around the world ?? ours are going up at a scary rate.. its actually starting to hurt my pockets
Not to long ago petrol was $1.02 NZD a litre (New Zealand Dollars) now its around $1.37.. and they are already talking about increasing it some more...
Are petrol prices in your country sky rocketing aswell ??

Ours have been high for a while now. Usually around here we can get gasoline for $2.19 per gallon. It goes up and down almost randomly though. If i ever see it for less than $2 i get all excited. lol. I want to buy a Toyota Prius Hybrid. My buddy has one and it's pretty sweet.

When we just moved to Canada it was 0.50$ now it's 0.80~$

Local gas station here is charging €1,25 a litre now, must be about $1,50/l (hail the metric system). Not that the raise in petrol prices will give me head aches, I only drive my Prius when I absolutely have to (in case of medical emergencies and such)  Excessive car usage is ruining the environment.

Whoa. I wouldnt be able to drive at some of those prices.
Here in Calgary, Alberta the Prices are a little high. But not that crazy.
Reg .89 /Litre
Mid .92 /Litre
Premium .96 /litre
$1.23 Can = 1 USD
but if you shop around you can find better deals.
Average over the past year was around .84 /Litre

Not due to lack of oil.. but lack of processing
*cough* iraqi.
Can someone tell me how this is fair.. the usa invade iraqi.. world prices get boosted up because of it.. yet petrol in america is real cheap

I dont think its scary for me.....for countries that buy oil yes, it is rather scary, but for oil producers, and countries that can make petrol out of oil it wont be such a big hit.
For example here, the petrol price doesnt jump around like it does on the market, its just been steadily increasing over the years.
4 years ago it was like 5-6 roubles/per litre, now its 15-16 rubels.
