if i remember right the backup they did before the burglary turned out to be from a later date than what they previously though, so that helped them a bit to get back on track with the project.
btw current version is 0.2.0f and 0.2.0g on the way. still there are a couple of annoying bugs, but the guys at indiestone are doing their best to polish the update before the official update release and it looks like its going to be the best update yet. great work from indie stone!

Just bought this, seems great. Not sure i understand the controlls for combat, i googled it and it seems like i'm supposed to hold ctrl or hit "z" to get into a combat stance, but it doesnt seem to work. Haven't found a weapon yet though, so maybe that's the problem..
UI is a bit clumsy i think.

yeah when you have a weapon and you hold ctrl you'll ready the weapon then you can click to attack.
works like holding shift in diablo

Hm. I guess that must be an older build thread then. Sorry mate, it looks like there's no FS native option yet, only the kiosk/F11 mode for browsers.

Did they finally implement a save feature in the current build? I bought PZ quite some time ago, but without a proper save feature I won't touch it.

I really think permadeath is the way to go for this type of game, a save feature would kill off the urgency and panic you're supposed to feel while playing.
sabin1981: ok, thanks anyways.

It will have both. You will save whenever you quit the game. Die, and that save is gone.

I completely agree, but considering the fact that playing zomboid takes usually longer then an hour a save on quit would be nice...
EDIT:
Save on quit has been confirmed for the next build! Yay!

Don't even bother. So many are mad about this. Mostly because they think that the characters are 3D now. Even though they're still sprites made from 3D models.
Imho this looks way better and the animations became extremely smooth because of this.

So... do I have to pay to play this right now or is there some release that I can test before I actually pay money for this game...
