Yeah it's wierd , it says it saves almost every minute in some areas..and then it loads in some area you didn't expect at all . Sometime it works , mostly when you complete some important objective or when you enter a new area..so beware.

WOW! The stuttering in the Hillside area is absolutely horrendous. Visual Tearing is another bonus. Textures popping in at the start, absurd save system, retarded combat, God I'm really leaning towards the IGN Rating. Don't get me wrong, it certainly is atmospheric and has some scary moments, but these technical issues are really pissing me off. If this continues, I'll let go off this game and start Ninja Gaiden 3.

meh, the game is a joke , its not atmospheric at all, its not scary even one bit, the combat is oh so retarded.
how could a series with ingenious titles like sh 1-3 turn into this...

I know , it pisses me off too..but if you are a SH or survival horror fan in general you'll manage to finish it and enjoy it  ... Im on 92% , there are very annoying stuttering in some parts but after that it's much better..it's still present but not that often. Just don't quit..  |

Someone motivate me... I like the atmosphere and looks of the game. Mechanics and puzles are allright too but overall the game is booring and monsters are awfully generic. Fighting system is proboably worst I've ever seen. It would be better as an adventure game.
How far I am? (I only played a little bit) :

I ve made another attempt and failed... 3hours in (silent hill library)
The game is so god damn terribly booooring that I fell asleep 2 times. Really.
Once when running around the most boring city ever and second time in the lbirary.
I never before fell asleep during a game. At least I don't remember but this is something else...
i have very mixed feelings about this game.
I like story but there is to little of it.
I like characters and voice acting but You meet someone too few times(postman is great)
I like controls and some mechanics but it have worst fighting mechanics ever!
and worst monsters ever!
I am like "oh god not again that fucking bitch... I will run past her.... OH fucking god she screams and now I have to shake left analog stick to free myself while this fucking funny male jittery zombie hits me" And not to mention celling monsters....
I will not play this anymore. NO. I will rather watch Youtube playthrought and skip to interesting parts.

Yes , especially if you like the genre..performance issues are annoying tho , so when I consider that hmm.. not sure if it's worth giving them the money.. Maybe they'll fix it , but I didn't heard that the patch is even coming..
Atmosphere and exploration are great , on the other hand combat is not that great..but overall I enjoyed it. Also , Im a fan of the series..
Team Silent please come back..
