This I would totally. I don't mind old games as long as I don't own them already on any platform. Buying the same game for different platforms is wrong imo.
Never owned ps2 so dmc1 and dmc2 are waiting for me!
And dmc3 Ive finished on pc so would be nice to replay this in proper form.
At least it is whole trilogy unless SH

Yep. I agree. I have a 40" tv and I'm sat 6 foot away and the difference between 1080p and 720p is pretty much zero. It's hits zero difference when using my monitor as it's about a foot away.
Back on topic though, definitely will dl this as I only ever played DMC1.

I don;t know how ps3... but 360 does great job of upscaling that 720p up to 42 screens. Image is still sharp. The built in scaler does its job

something wrong with your tv or your eyes lol
on my 40" difference between 720p and 1080p is immense.

The difference between 720 and 1080 is only visible once you are on greater that 50amd sit close

Absolutely. If you're not lucky enough to have a gen1 US/JAP PS3 (CECHA-CECHB) then really, get yourself a proper PS2 -- the library is second only to, perhaps, the PS1 and the SNES.

I am writing this in bed from my phone so excuse all nazi english:p
Ok my 20min before sleep impression.
360 complex release.
First it goes to menu where we can choose which dmc we want to play(and inform that in order to play another, the disc will have to be started again) or view bonus artworks or listem to music from all 3 games.
Everything allright. Ive only played dmc3 for like 20min and all i can say that pc version which Ive completed sucks hard. This here is a proper port. Widescreen, 60fps, proper lighting and dynamic shadows. Everything that pc version was lacking 
The prerendered intro looks unchanged tho.
I am happy. Finally i might be able to finish dmc as it should have beed played.
But there is one MAJOR problem so far. The fucking disc wont stop spinning! I have game burned with ihas on verb an installed. In every xgd3 game, disc spins for like 3min and then jetfuckengine turns off, but here disc is not spinning in first menu where I choosed a game but after selecting dmc3 it went crazy and didnt stop. If that is permanent and not fixable, i might not play this... My family and gf are too much disturbed. The whole flat shakes when disc is spinning in that devil machine 
Good thing is that unlike other games, sound is set loudly. I play on headphones connected directly to console and as 360 does not amplify sound too much, some games tend to be quiet even on maxed headphones volume. At least sometimes I can feel my fatality mk88 shaking when bass hits. (best dubstep drivers ever)
Anyway. I am glad its out and its not fucked. Just please, those who installed it, let me know if disc ever stops spinning. Maybe I have a bad burn or something.

Who carez i have a Jtag lulz but damn putting a DRM that spins the disc to check if its real even if you install it on the HDD iTS CRAZY... oh this brings back memories from the PC version of WITCHER 1 that had TAGES that checked the disc every time it loaded a map

i have to agree with guy few posts above, this HD collection looks pretty nice. i was worried for a moment when i saw 4:3 main menu but in game is all nice and widescreen, 60fps and gfx looks much better than what i was expecting from HD collection.

No fps drops.
Constant 60 in all 3 ames
good sharp modern graphics
widescreen
NO disc spinning - it only spins for like 5 minutes(if properly burned with ihas and installed like any other xgd3)
all 3 games are best versions avaible on any platforms
