I have 2 PS3's.. 1 is CFW.. the other i got for nothing as the laser is shot and it was on firmware 4.0 so thats basically all i use it for..

Last Paradox TB eboot was 9 days before?There are many releases and none of them has an eboot fix as I see.Last one was for ME3.I'm considering buying the TB dongle but I see slow support lately.
The Show 12,Downpour,Fifa Street,Tales of Graces F and many others without a TB fix so far.Strange.

If I get TB dongle... I suppose you must update and all. What I wonder is will I be able to get back to KMEAW afterwards? I mean lets say some breakthrough happens I wouldn't want to be locked out.

Don't worry, TB's FW is just a modified 3.55 -- you can swap between 3.55 revisions as much as you want.

Thanks mate, just one more question. How about the old games that I have backed up? In other words can I still use Multiman? (Oh and will new games work with multiman assuming I use eboot patches)

Yup, everything will continue to work as normal (there's even a modified version that let you keep using ReACT PSN) and MM can read JB2 games as long as you use the new EBOOTs =)

Naw, I'm not buying a TB. I'd like to be able to play recent titles, but I've come to realise just how dangerous it is to buy into this "pay us or we'll withhold releases" bullshit the TB team have been doing. There's still a bunch of games not released, or still only available on pirated disks, and I just don't like being beholden to a group of hackers that could, at any time, decide to stop releasing stuff.
As for the clones, there are two; JBKing and JB2USB. JBKing recently got an update to 2.5, which means it's now completely compatible with TB releases. I don't think JB2USB supports 2.5 and above yet though.

lots of hackers are sadly bunch of hypocrytes on forums they are against piracy and in the mean time they all are joining those dongle teams.. its the same on xboxhacker.net its DEAD there.. some years ago there where full with hackers discussing things now NOTHING all gone.. some joined team Xecuter and some moved to the dvd emulator teams.

I am not getting a dongle.
I will either trade my PS3 in for a Wii-U when it drops or find someone who will swap it for a RGH Xbox, if it remains unhacked by then.

This exactly.Another reason for me to not buy TB is the latest console games.Let's see the latest games and TB releases and their critics and users rating on average:
Downpour ->Mediocre
Top Gun -> Shit
Snipers -> Shit
Tales Of Graces F -> Good,playable,nothing extraordinary
Fifa Street -> Mediocre
RE -> Poor
Armored Core V -> Poor
FF XIII-2 -> Mediocre
and many others not worth mentioning.
And -> The Show 12, Journey. These 2 are the best releases this year for PS3 and guess what: No modified eboot by Paradox..

im seeing stuff on youtube as well as other sites, that is showing jailbreak 4.11 using only a usb stick with custom FW on it? legit? or am i going to have to go through a lot of crap to jailbreak my 4.11

Sorry mate, there's no JB for any firmware above 3.55 right now. There's a 3.56 JB but it still requires 3.55 to install. Anything you see on YT is most definitely fake, only pay attention to the big scene sites like PS3Crunch, PSX-Scene or Hax. If those three mention a 4.x JB, it's a good chance it's a real.
