Indeed just wanted to type that.
Is this game any good MOST movie games suck but not all... And then it's for the consoles to so my hopes are not high but he CoR was very good and it was a X-Box ported based on a movie game...

After the Spiderman 2 pc debacle, Activision has redeemed itself and bought Beenox, a grand porting company. Now all movie multiplatform games will be the same on both pc and consoles.

damn, game is pretty shitty, no immersive sound neither good graphics... worst about all this is that it comes in 4 cds!! shit! no immersive gameplay, just runing around punching robots n stuff... dont waste credits in this.

ok since i'm the only 1 who seems to have played this i'll give my short opinion on it.
1. no controls menu in game, u define them from the load screen. not too bad but when its all keyb controls it's confusin at the start tryin to rememebr what button represents the icons on the screen.
2. poor camera control. Ok you can control it freely with the mouse but it's hardly practical since ur hands are tied up with the combat / movement anyway. u can center the view onto the way ur facing but u need to stop moving before it will change, i find this alone pretty annoying.
3. i only played it to the end of flame man's mission so I can't give an overly in-depth view on the gameplay but so far its been very simple and a bit too easy. there is a small combat system with some nice touches like combos and special attacks but it's not extensive. Although i'm pretty sure the other missions wont be as guided and these were just "tutorials" to get u used to it, i found myself lmited to one room at a time with no free exploration h made it boring after a while.
some positives on the game were the close relation to the characters and their abilites. I thought they were pretty decent and nicely linked with the special attacks. Another positive is the "unlockables", there are sub-missions on each level such as kill 25 enemies. these unlock secrets in the game. Another + was the ability to select new upgrades. combos, specials etc could be added to ur list whenever you wanted. The graphics weren't amazing, they were pretty plain and the textures were a bit boring too but the character design and cut scenes were alright for such a game.
Can't really think of much more to add but it's not very good for me. If you're gonna get this game for ur kids i'd recommend you get it for a console purely because the controls are shit on the PC. or better yet get a similar game like TMNT which is better in everyway.

The funny thing is - even if you use a gamepad, controls remain shitty
4 buttons just to switch between characters - who was the bright guy who decided that this was the best course of action?
I bet on the consoles, they have a 'next' - 'previous' kind of switch

np, i dont think there was underlying problems with the port it's just a poorish game all around. Sure on the console it will be better (i have it for the xbox but havent burnt it yet, gettin a backlog of games lately  ) because the graphics can be accepted plus i'm sure the controls will be easier. Just things like the camera control irritated me and it will probably be present on consoles too. dont quote me on that though  . |

dude thats like the 2nd mission. which bit are u stuck on? on johnny's i got stuck for a min because the robots didnt leave the machine ya just need to attack them sometimes. maybe ur havin the same prob idk.
