For example. I want to play as the Vikings and i bought that so i want to use it in a online game. Than i can't do this unless all other players bought that specific DLC. Its just retarded, because all DLC is worthless like this.

How do you expect that to work when the others don't have the assets?

Civilization V: Gods & Kings Releases in June

Quote:
It's always exciting to announce a release date. It's one of those things that everyone asks for when they're looking forward to an upcoming game, ever hopeful that it's sooner than they fear, and I always have to encourage them to be patient and that the announcement will happen when we're ready. So when I finally get to announce it, I really enjoy it.

What's even more exciting than announcing a release date, however, is announcing a release date that is a mere 10 weeks away. That's right, Civilization V: Gods & Kings will be available in North America on June 19, and internationally on June 22!

Well, it's not console port. You are expected to have good hardware for optimal gameplay. And I don't mean GPU only.

you have 8 gb ram, maybe i should add 2 gb ram... got 6 and it takes more than a minute on advanced eras...

if so, this game totally deserves it.

Few of the last SKIDROW cracks also had glitches that increased AI turn length (3dmgame cracks didn't had those issues).

Q6600 @ 2.40 Ghz, 4 GB RAM. Play only Large and Huge maps, early eras always < 15 - 30 sec, later eras(cannons, etc. ) < 30 - 80 sec.

EDIT: Legit Steam version.

I haven't played this game in like 1 year but then everyone was complaining of bugs and online issues.
Has it all been fixed since allthe patches that have been released?

Just a heads up - I've found a working copy of CIV5 GOTY with latest patch (1.0.1.511) while roaming the seven seas of the internet. Not sure if it's news, but I was under the impression the latest patch was never cracked.

The latest patch was cracked a while back by the 3DM Game chinese team. That GOTY copy it's actually a repack from SIMON (and the guy does well made repacks). The official GOTY it's 1.1.348.

Sure not all bugs are fixed but it's stable, time-lag between turns is lowered and with VEM mod it's very enjoyable.

When Civilization V released nearly 2 years ago, it included a feature that allowed players to browse a list of community-created mods and install them directly inside the game. With the Gods & Kings expansion pack on the horizon, 2K Games and Firaxis Games have decided to go a step further and overhaul the system to use Steam Workshop (and yes, this will be for the base game as well, not just the expansion!) See the full announcement here.

Keep your eyes on the Steam Workshop for the Civilization V update coming soon!
