This game is way better than the first game. Looks a lot better too and there's a lot to do. Collecting radio logs and wiping out research teams around the city to earn upgrades, unlock side missions, wiping out underground lairs Smile

Completing side missions earns you mutations (perks), which improve certain abilities and can be swapped around.

Def worth a burn Smile

Yes, it has that weird Alan Wake thing where it shifts sides but it's poorly done here. Not to mention that it's not "over the shoulder" here, but full on third person. And I think that's it feels so weird here as opposed to AW where it made sense/wasn't that weird.

A little short for a free roaming game, but way more intense and filled with lots of conent! Anyway no parties today. So iv been playing non stop from I wake up. Played 2-3 hours yesterday as well tho. About 10-12 hours id say Wink

Iv done 70-80% of the side quests. They are unlocked as you progress and are all relevant to the story, so they really are a must Smile I didn't do them all before I completed the game because of a stupid time trail addition to one of the quests. I raged and continued on the main game. Ill complete them all tho Wink You can continue to play after you complete the game (just as in Prototype 1) or you can continue with your skills and whatnot starting a new game+ Smile

8/10 from me!

It's fine most of the time, I just find it annoying when it happens/it's noticeable.

Yup, they definitively improved on that aspect, the rendering has a really nice smooth look to it. And there's a lot more attention to detail. And the handling/parkouring part as well.
However the textures on characters are pretty washed out, even for x360/PS3 standards, but it might be due to some streaming/hardware limitation. Laughing

The smooth look reminds me of inFamous 1/2.

Very good looking game overall, at least when compared to most sandbox games like these where the world is just flat and ugly, with little to no attention to detail. Very Happy

I played some of it and its basicly the same game as first. Which is great, because there is never enough of mayhem to be done Very Happy

There are plenty of new moves etc. Everything a sequel shoukd have. There is still the same prototype dark and violent atmosphere.

Most noticable changes are in the grapics which are vastly improved over first game for the cost of distance view and framerate. Especially in ingame cutscenes game seems to have really hard time to keep that 30
Most of time it seems like its running at 25fps... It generally feels less smooth than first game but it is not as bad as gta4... I would say that it runs maybe a tiny bit better than saints row3 on 360. Anyway... Its great fun and it looks good. Performance could be better but its a-ok.

There is nothing wrong with the camera but with heller movement. Small movements are kinda unresponsive and unprecise.

It feels so relaxing after dark souls Very Happy like a gift from heaven

Finding the game to be extremely repetitive the game would be a shallow if we just remove the fast pace Heller.I just go to a place consume some get data the soliders attack that's it.
