As you can see in the article, the guys behind this are dutch and they will focus on video games and helping the european companies.
There is also a small catch:
"The main difference between Gambitious and the currently popular Kickstarter is that the former does not rely on donations. Instead, a developer decides what percentage of the required funding people can buy. Someone who invests money in a project, becomes a shareholder and is entitled to dividends"

You know how it is: new idea comes and everyone wants to in the bandwagon. Kickstarter it's a good idea, but it works only for certain people. For others, they better have a damn good presentation.
Copying what kickstarter does, not sure if it's the best idea out there. It's a niche business model for a niche market.

Yeah im sure most see how that is, but I'm just saying as with all ideas that are niche and rather good the human race then bundles it on mass and the whole special feel of something good from such is just covered in a wash of crap and bullshit twisted formats that ruin it for initial concepts.
Its like social networking hype... |

i really know nothing about stocks and stuff like that, but can you have infinite stocks? and if you can wont more you have less valuable they are?
so you need to raise 1 mln, you create five man company, which worth total 10k lets say, month latter company is worth 1mln? that shit gonna produce another 92582985+ companies that are worth insane amount of money while having nothing of worth, there are already plenty of those due internet " success "
but maybe i am completely wrong,

yeah as soon as i saw it, i instantly thought gamble and ambitious.... kinda offputting naming your project that... implying its a gamble... a bit shady...  doesnt matter what you INTEND it to mean... its what people think it means, that counts...
