There shouldnt be anything else you need to do..they will maybe ask for some ID and you send that and you get your account back and then you change the password.

Ok, thanks..
I've also got my steam account hijacked. But luckily, i managed to login before he changed my password, and i changed the email and password again. After that, i've got 5 emails like this "Steam account - Forgotten password"..
..crisis averted, i guess.

I doubt you have a keylogger on your box. I don't know what your internet situation is but you probably just have someone wiresharking the network you are on.

Had to create a 2nd EA account because of that, the first one was created with some random DoB and if I ever have the same problem you're having now that account will be locked.
The DoB is what they use to determine if that's your real account.
Stupid, but that's the way it is.

..trust me, i HAD a password stealer
I downloaded Mirillis Action!, recording software, from a well known warez bulletin board. And it seems like the crack was the problem, as reported by some of the forum users..
I started the application, and it was running for maybe 15 seconds, and i shut it down via Task Manager. And, around an hour later, i got my Steam and Origin accounts hijacked in a space of 5 minutes maybe.
Besides, my neighbourhood is pathetic when it comes to technology, and i'm pretty sure my WiFi is well protected
I know, it's my own fault, but i still think EA should restore my previous account details with the information i sent them.

But, i'm 100% sure i entered the true DoB when i created the account. How come it's not correct now?
I don't care much for this account, tbh. I've only had BF3 + B2K, Shift2U and NFS World games there. I haven't played BF3 for more than month now, Shift2U just stands there because i bought it for 5 euros and i've already played it before. And NFS World, well. I play it for around 5-10 minutes a day, so it's not a big loss actually. It's just..
..if someone wanted to buy my account, i would probably give it for a simbolic price, or for free maybe, but i just hate having something taken away from me like that, without giving me a chance to take it back..

Because you really can't change the DoB anywhere after creating the account.

Ok, here's the situation right now..
Step by step:
1 - I've told EA support that my account has been hacked
2 - They replied and said that i need to share some information with them:
- EA ID linked with hacked account
- Date of birth listed on my hacked account
- Any Game code linked with my hacked account
- First name linked with my hacked account
3 - I sent them:
- my ID and some personas just in case
- date of birth
- serial numbers of all the games i had in my account
- first name
4 - They replied:
"..Actually, having checked the account linked with given driver name (Neo_Woods) it appears that the Date of Birth provided does not match the one in our database.."
5 - Me, a bit nervous, sent them
- receipt from most recent purchase (in february)
- an email i got from EA which sad my email was changed from my original to xxhaxz0rgxxx8@yahoo.com
- also told them to double check the DoB because it's not the information i would remember wrong -.-
Now, here comes the fun part, ready?
6 - I shit you not, Mr. Ganesh replied:
"I understand how frustrating that can be. I have checked 'xxhaxz0rgxxx8@yahoo.com' account and I found that you are telling the correct date of birth of this account however you did not provide correct detail of hacked account. If you wish to get your account back then please reply us with correct date of birth."
I think the only thing left to do is to draw that mothefucker how my email becomes 'xxhaxz0rgxxx8@yahoo.com' and that it's a fucking same account, jeeeeesh..
Seriously, i don't know if i should lol, rage, masturbate or what?
How to get a job in EA support team? Fail in kindergarten to qualify?

You're not getting it back, simple as that. I spent a month hopping from tech guy to tech guy trying to get my Bad Company 2 account back but because they don't understand what it means when I say I don't have access to an old email account anymore, means I'm obviously not the user.
I'm sure they're bullshitting when it comes to the date of birth. They wanted mine as well and 2 guys said it was wrong. Funny enough through, the 3rd time I tried it a week later, he said all the information was correct and the information would be sent to the email address I registered it with, which was the email address I told them I didn't have access to anymore.
They simply want you to go buy another copy of the games.

Just out of interest, and maybe this is a totally stupid idea. Are they using the Month/Day/Year system rather than the Day/Month/Year ?
Figured it was worth asking. Hopefully you'll have better luck as time progresses.

That's what i first thought..
But, just in case, i wrote them in this format: 15. october, 1986.
In the end, DoB i provided is the correct one. It's just, the Lamma working in the support team can't understand that my email has been changed, and that it's the same account just with different email and password..
I'm deffinitely not going to give up. If it's needed, i'll send them e-mails everyday
As a matter of fact, if they don't want to give me my old account back, i'll deffinitely never ever buy any of their products..

They asked for a new e-mail adress (not registered at EA), so they could update my old account with it. So, i can log in to my old account again, but i deffinitely have to change my id, current is FrankZor666
So, yeah, some faith in EA restored | w00t, awesome stuff!
Now try to figure out how someone was able to steal it from you so it doesn't happen again.
