Yet again HiRez update the game and add OP weapons.
Is this going to be the norm? They add new weapons, they're OP so all the little fucks buy it, and once enough people buy it they nerf?
This weapon is fucking stupid, every single player who uses it no matter how much experience he has with the game gets an insane amount of kills from spamming plasma and cluster grenade.
Now every other player is a spammy Raider.
So much fun.
Edit: Played some more and I still can't believe they thought releasing it like this was a good idea.
Every kill you get with this thing is unearned and undeserved and it's so easy to get mid air kills.

Hopefully the nerf will come sooner than later. And I guess all weapons in future patches will have similar issue. It actually makes sense from business perspective. There are lot of people that are willing to pay for current "best" weapon so they can get it and pwn before it gets nerfed. Sad, but if it makes them enough money to support the game and add new content regularly I can get over it.

There's no need to be precise and "tactical"...I guess matches are are indeed a spamfest now, with people blindly shooting at anything that moves with no strategies whatsoever. Just like happened in BF3 with the M26s
The PG is really ridiculous for me as a PF. Getting sniped by a sniper or with one of the stupid SMGs was annoying, but this actually breaks the game on some maps for me. Even on something like Drydock I don't dare grabbing at anything less than 300 now

Nah it's not that bad. Not yet at least. Feels more like the USAS with frag rounds before they were tweaked: quite annoying when you are getting shot at, but not that hard to deal with (mainly by running away in my case ).
I suppose it's worse if you spend more time in combat instead of flag running though.
Edit: Interesting... I guess I got lucky and the PG spammers spent more time dealing with "other people"
Also, good luck getting out of a fight with a guy that has that weapon. I got killed so damn quickly yesterday by a raider, in middle air, on the Sunstar map, while trying to run away. You can get away from other weapons, even from snipers if you are careful enough. This though?! No fucking way.

Difference is that the USAS only worked "that well" at very close range (unless in my hands of course ). This piece of shit is dead accurate across entire maps and obviously kills me in just 2 hits. High ROF w/ as much damage as my light Spinfusor, way higher projectile velocity and utterly broken hit detection. Just fixing that last part won't fix the weapon.

if you wanna have fun capping as a brute, try doing the back-to-front on drydock. its easy to set up as you just have to get on top of the hill behind the enemy base; after that you can gather a lot of speed going down the hill and shooting yourself twice, grabbing the flag while facing your own base and flying away.
yeah earlier today i actually did flag runs with my brute for the giggles ... and succeeded several times, to the surprise of everyone else (and myself lol).

not right after the patch but some hours later. I got the feeling Hi Rez is gagging and holding down people so noobs and trolls can rape you without the screams. But Im about done with this anyway
I predicted after the release patch did nothing about the balance issues, they had plans for OP updates later that made what seemed OP before look nerfed. Sad thing is they try to act stupid
about it. If its OP we made a mistake, and is going to be fixed at later time. There are no mistakes, this was planned all along. They have all the class updates allready and the planned nerfs.
they deserve to make money if people play, but lies, and smokescreen tactics, are a bunch of BS. You can pay now, but guess what, you will never be done paying. No unless you want to be a bitch for the latest FOTM spam machine.

I don't see the problem. I played about 8 games last night and nowhere had the feeling the raider was OP. Besides everything is unlockable with XP so you don't even have to pay for these upgrades. Balance issues are in every game.
