Finished comparing and tweaking the config files, from what I can see a number of lines were removed but hopefully not for optimization reasons although it's pretty minor, view distance has been scaled up slightly for shadows and vegetation but lowered for many other things so I brought back the values from the beta config file I had, hopefully editing the file will actually have a result now but I'll know soon, otherwise the pop-in will be a bit worse than it was during the beta.
(Config file edit was rather quick, I'll fine tune it later, for now I just doubled view range values and enabled a few things and disabled some others, hopefully test mode also works as access to the in-game console would help a bit.)

Anyone know how to disable the horrid mouse acceleration? I can barely play with it.
Edit: Also, is the native edge AA some kind of FXAA? I will try to compare them later using the FXAA built by Nvidia.

This is the beta crack. Game ends after beta area.
Even started a new game, went straight to the pirate camp on tacarigua and lo and behold: the game ended.

It's not the Skidrow crack, but you can try it out if you have the full game. Upload it to www.virustotal.com first to see if it checks out.
