i thought the game was supposed be released by now. any new info?
It's made by former GSC people, so I think a (possibly significant) delay is to be expected. The most recent update is about a month old (I suppose "Berezno" means "March" in Ukrainian)
Thanks for the question. We estimate about 3-4 hours for quick playthrough. And about 10+ hours for those who want to get all the story details.

We plan to complete Cradle, our debut project, by fall 2012. PC will be our first launch platform for Cradle. Subsequent releases on Mac OS, Linux and portable iOS and Android-based devices are planned too.
1. It's main platform is PC so no shoddy port. That's what Mactalibans, Leenuxers and Androids will get.
2. The premise is beautiful. It's an adventure, not an FPS.
3. Trailer was really chilled out and I liked it.
As for the game itself, we'll just have to see in fall (well, it's fall now but it could mean November).
We are going to give you an update on how things are going at the Flying Cafe. Things are pretty bad. For the last few months the development has been carried in the atmosphere of deep crysis which threatened the project to face closure. Due to ideological controversies the team has lost its game designer Pavel Mikhailov - now there are only three of us and there will be three up until the release. We have completely run out of budget funds, yet the project is far from its final state. We are solving the problem of overspednings as we speak. We are still floating, but feel totally exhausted. In order to continue the development, three of us need some rest. We have failed to meet the schedule initially planned. The release is postponed considerably. Presumably, we are talking end of summer 2013.
The current plan for the next steps is as follows:
1. Take rest.
2. By January, compile the beta version to demonstrate to potential publishers.
3. By late January, prepare another press-release, including a new gameplay video and a screenshots pack.
Our desire to finalize Cradle is as strong as your one to play it. We are confident that with your support we will overcome the obstacles and release the game.
