Aside from dodge missing(wtf moment if there EVER was one) and foliage morphing or whatever it's called, the game is amazing, so much better then expected. Just playing since yesterday, on second island.

Yeah, I'm happy to report that I'm having a great time too. I still don't think it's a patch on Risen 1, but that's not to say it's not a damned fun game - the sense of exploration is amazing.

What? Speak sense -.-

*EDIT*
Anyways, the Temple of Air DLC isn't exactly inlcuded in the Collector's Edition. Only the Treasure Isle and Pirate Clothing are included in the box. But! The Temple of Air DLC code will be send to you by Amazon per E-Mail.

No one here who bought the Collector's Edition and could provide the files?

So maybe skidrowdies cracked the exe itself to enable all DLCs but the last 3rd DLC hasn't yet been released? Scratch Head

Maybe Piranha Bytes did it partially the Capcom-style. So some of additional data is already stored in game's files and some has to be downloaded.

No, the DLC is already available for people who bought the Collector's Edition by Amazon (at least in Germany) and it's delivered via a code by E-Mail sent from Amazon. That one is the Temple of Air DLC.
But the Skidrow release is missing the dialogue files. That's why you won't have sound for the DLC related dialogues.

We need dialogue_xxx_dlc3.pak

We've got all the main DLC files (they're in projects.pak) but we're missing dialogue_english_dlc3.pak in order to get voices into Temple of Air. JB uploaded the first two DLC dialogue packs, which is why they work, we just need somebody with Temple of Air to upload theirs.

Since quicksaves overwrite eachother, my disk got full while playing and all my recent saves weren't actually performed, even though it said the game was saved.

Can anyone please upload some saved games for me that match my progress? I was in tacarigua, about 3-4 hours into the game I think, approaching the pirates and having cleared what I believe is everything up to that point. I know I haven't played much and could start again, but I don't have lots of spare time and I would hate doing the first hours all over again.

Thanks!

Infact, we need someone who bought the Collector's Edition via Amazon and recieved the code from them to upload those files.

Sorry mate, I had several gig of saves so I deleted them. Now I disabled autosave and only have a handful of manual saves.

@m3th0d

Yup! Let's hope some kind soul gets around to it, eh? Wink

The game starts with rainy weather so it should be in.. Not sure if it's used more than in the begining of the game though.

You have to be close enough, locked on to your target and with and have high gun stats, such as muskets or pistols.

OK thanks JB, I'm downloading the files now.

PS. I'd advise anyone with an Xbox controller to atleast give it a shot, makes everything much more smoother.

PPS. is anyone using FXAA? Care to share the (tweaked) settings?

Try the one that I made for Amalur, it works pretty well http://www.mediafire.com/?ypbmxwa8fo9a8k6 Very Happy

Don't forget to do this: http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1843000#1843000 (otherwise it won't start Smile )

Do I need to start the tool or just the game?

*EDIT*
Holy crap. Let me guess, you guys love your (imho over)saturation, don't you? Very Happy

*EDIT2*
Well, at least it shows you how bad some of the textures are Laughing

*EDIT3*
I've found a wooden leg on Takarigua and it showed that I've solved "the quest". But I never had one?! Scratch Head
Any ideas? (Oh, it's actually one of those legendary items. But I didn't find a book or heard a story about it yet)

The way the explained it you block and when they start their attack (a human opponent that is.) you press the attack button to parry and then again to quickly attack, I'll check it out again just incase I got some of the details wrong but the skill description should be accurate but it's probably not easy to time it.
(Perhaps it scales with difficulty level or maybe enemies are simply more aggressive, shooting mini-game does for example as that Gamebanshee preview pointed out.)

EDIT:
Sided with the inquisition for now, I don't think either path is all too different aside from which equipment and skills you have access to, started finding a nice collection of legendary items too including three sword hilts, no signs of any of their blades yet though. Razz
(Getting some decent equipment now too, rapier with a heavy coat and a dueling pistol.)

Move the pick back and forth and note how the pins react, adjacent pins should stay up if you move it in the right order so it takes a few tries to see which direction you should move the pick in to make the pins stay up and where to begin picking the lock, it's a bit of a memory game but after the first picked lock you should have the hang of how it works.

Smaller locks usually work just by moving back and forth a few times but the more complex locks require a bit of time even if you can't fail though there's a bug where you lose the pick which some people have reported and that's quite a problem since you only get one.

As I mentioned (Or rather as that preview mentioned - http://www.gamebanshee.com/reviews/107840-risen-2-dark-waters-review/page-5.html ) it scales to your difficulty level, play on easy to slow it down. Smile

I'm playing with the xbox3shitty controller and it shows press Y after a parry. But pressing y after a parry (while holding block button) kicks, and if i just press Y after a parry alone the character just jumps...
