Aside from dodge missing(wtf moment if there EVER was one) and foliage morphing or whatever it's called, the game is amazing, so much better then expected. Just playing since yesterday, on second island.

Yeah, I'm happy to report that I'm having a great time too. I still don't think it's a patch on Risen 1, but that's not to say it's not a damned fun game - the sense of exploration is amazing.

We've got all the main DLC files (they're in projects.pak) but we're missing dialogue_english_dlc3.pak in order to get voices into Temple of Air. JB uploaded the first two DLC dialogue packs, which is why they work, we just need somebody with Temple of Air to upload theirs.

Since quicksaves overwrite eachother, my disk got full while playing and all my recent saves weren't actually performed, even though it said the game was saved.
Can anyone please upload some saved games for me that match my progress? I was in tacarigua, about 3-4 hours into the game I think, approaching the pirates and having cleared what I believe is everything up to that point. I know I haven't played much and could start again, but I don't have lots of spare time and I would hate doing the first hours all over again.
Thanks!

Haven't tried voodoo but muskets and pistols are very useful and powerful.

The game starts with rainy weather so it should be in.. Not sure if it's used more than in the begining of the game though.

You have to be close enough, locked on to your target and with and have high gun stats, such as muskets or pistols.

Each weapon has its own max range which you can see in your inventory.

Move the pick back and forth and note how the pins react, adjacent pins should stay up if you move it in the right order so it takes a few tries to see which direction you should move the pick in to make the pins stay up and where to begin picking the lock, it's a bit of a memory game but after the first picked lock you should have the hang of how it works.
Smaller locks usually work just by moving back and forth a few times but the more complex locks require a bit of time even if you can't fail though there's a bug where you lose the pick which some people have reported and that's quite a problem since you only get one.
