can anyone get this game to run? i mounted it in deamon tools but no luck, it asks for cd in that nasty starforce window, do i need to burn it?

same problem here...tried alcohol, deamontools and also SFNightmare....it won't work

can you give a detailed description on how to burn with alcohol? i tried with the newest version and it just gives me an error say there is no rmps on the source so i cant be burned using starforce datatype?

I have no idea really how i got it to work, i tried alot of things, in the end i just tried burning it, and to my suprise it accepts the disk

i tried a lot too, i also burnt, but it doesn't accept the disk
plz give us more information about your hardware, your burning-software, which emulation options are enabled, the procedure and so on

What was the write method u guys used? I used DAO/SAO with 8x but i didn't worked, it keeps me asking for the cd.

DAO/SAO. I think that it's my CD-RW. It's amazing. I don't have any problems with burning games like Cycling Manager 4 or Radsport Manager 2005.
One year ago when CyM4 was relased, on another forum people can't burn it.
Only I burn it. I don't know why, but maybe it's luck? But I don't think so. It must be my CD-RW.

This game has really weird game concept, for me self peace of shit i would never buy. I have downloaded the release of german version Rad_Sport_Manager_Pro_2005-Legends and played them emulated.
The game starts with this created MI: http://rapidshare.de/files/2766724/rpm.rar.html
Don't think it will work with another language versions.
The topology of this game was already on one german forum.
Everything you need is to deactivate your cd drives, else you get the message "insert the disk in another drive", you can always disable power on your drives, if you don't want to use usual ways or do it as i do and everything will be fine.
Because since my drives are separately on my ide controller and hard drives are on my raid controller, I have described it already here

I just need to deactivate my controller in the device manager and starforce doesn't see my drives anymore.

By the way, i tried to disable my ide channel with cd drives in bios, earlier starforce versions 3.4 worked fine, but this one 3.5 freezes my whole system, i have been waiting about 2 minutes, nothing has occured, power button didn't work too, only reset button helped me. Perhaps new way to force users to activate channels in BIOS. 
Did somebody have same troubles by deactivated channels in BIOS on this sf version?
I heard, there are raid controllers supporting cd drives, starforce don't see them directly and ones has never to deactivate drive to play emulated. Already any experiences with raid controllers, do they really support cd drives? Really no need to deactivate cd drives on it to play emulated?
My older one supports only hard drives. 
I am thinking about to buy an newer raid controller, if they support it already.
