First game that keeps giving a disc unreadable error. WTF am I doing wrong?

Have You installed the game?
If yes, then have You flashed Your console with LT3.0 ?
If yes, then have You bured prototype2 (xgd3game) with ixtreme ihas burner?
If no then just unninstall the game and play from the disc without installing.

No, with a regular burner, like I've been doing since forever.
Tried it installed and from the disc, same deal.

I installed it a few times without any problems, so go figure. So what you're saying is there is no chance it will work without a BurnerMax device? No chance of that happening, I've looked far and wide and no retailers carry them (but that's because I live in a shithole of a country). Guess I'll have to look into RGHing it or whatever.

Absolutly no way (which I know about) to play installed games without ixtreme burner.
Most games will crash 5minutes in
3080, ps5, lg oled

Last game I played was..Arkham City, I think, it installed and ran perfectly. And this doesn't run regardless of whether it's installed or not. Makes no sense to me :/

I have the same problem as the person above. I dont burn the games myself though but I buy from someone and every backup works i have about 100 mostly recent ones but Prototype 2 can't be read. He even sent me a replacement and it did the same thing.

Basically you have two options:
1. get a Burner Max compatible drive
2. JTAG your console
I opted for #2 since those drives are impossible to find here.

Oh I didnt mention I have a old Hitachi LT 2.0 no 3.0 for my console. It's too old to recognize the ap 2.5 checks, so LT 3.0 is supposed to unneccessary.
But I've been able to play every other game I've thrown at it except Prototype 2. I'm playing Dragon Dogma right now.
