they probably rushed it out to fix the DLC exploit that was all over the forums

looks like the patch fixes that; no more free DLC without crack

Not even using the Helpers? Oh well... it's not like we didn't all use the crack initially anyhow Very Happy No doubt there will be a new one again soon enough.

What about for those people that have already "activated" the DLC via the Helper? Are the quests still available, or were they locked/removed?

Damn it, already finished the game twice.

Third playthrough will probably have to wait until second patc...errr...unofficial patch, lol, or an expansion.

Edit: lol, seems the patch will need a patch as it introduces new bugs Reaction

Whoa. I'm impressed too! Good work PB .. especially adding the dodge move.

I just arrived home from a long work session in another city ... and ... they implement dodge just when I got the time to play the game. Bwahahaah, how swell.

Although, makes me wonder, if this makes the game way too easy.

I'm glad I didn't pay for this, it was still in beta. The patch has added some much needed things, like dodge, AI improvements, autosaves, and this "Dealer of the Sword Coast now sells rum"... That's what I needed earlier.

How exactly is that an impressive 'patch'? They pretty much 'finished' the game with that 'patch'. Such bullshit.

That is true, but it's PB..therefore such a useful patch came out of the blue and caught us all by surprise Laughing Razz

Also the fact that I haven't spent money on it and still haven't played the game for more than 3-4 hours helped my excitement Cool Face

The patch pretty much completes the game, and makes it so much better. Shame they couldn't postpone the release for a couple of weeks so we could avoid playing a half broken game. I already finished it, and it has no replay value. Sad

and since there's no "retail" version of this game (all versions require steam), there won't be an official standalone patch.
