hi. i readed in some article that with "longhorn"(windows) i can play xbox titles on the PC is that true?
i can't foud now the article in the site.

It's a rumour at this point, nothing more. Still, I don't really care as i'll be nailing Xbox 360 by the point this becomes reality.

cool move..... right. no i think they want to force people to buy an xbox or xbox 360 to play those xbox games, its all business

But wouldn't it also be good business for Microsoft to allow xbox games to be played on the pc?...all the extra sales of Xbox games?

Yes It might be true but you will need Mega TeH machine to run games smoothly ..
Try to run a ps2 emulator and you will see what i'm talking about.
Yes i know that those emulators are homemade but it still depending most of your processor power not on your programming skills.

It is no way indicating that this WILL happen. The cunning use of the word could shows that this is an example of how M$ could use they're Xbox software on other hardware not how they ARE! This is less than a rumour, it is an imaginary "what if"..
This will not happen. Do not get your hopes up.

They would need to sell a special disc drive that can read the Xbox DVDs first. I don't think this will happen.

yeah better resolution and maybe better load speed depending on your pc. The controls will be a bitch though, PC is better for FPS with the mouse but I doubt they will add mouse support it would create soo many incompatibility in some games...

It makes sense that microsoft want to do this, they lose money on consoles, and earn it by selling games, so if longhorn runs x-box games, they will sell some more games. Think you need an uber pc to run them though, most ported games are a bit choppy allready, so unported games will run even worse(don't think that current systems can do it, perhaps with the new gforce).
