Rockstar sure can make games but they have so stupid marketing...
Why not show any gameplay, more screenshots (real from game) etc?
This game is anything better than any trailer I've seen for it.
You can even rotate camera in pause menu. They could do some amazing 360 screenshots with that.
At least there is no spoilers at all before release

I don't agree with you, I think they have a great marketing because contrary to most publishers, they actually do gameplay videos showing new features.. They made a video about the cutscene effects, about the weapons, and some other new stuff the gameplay introduced.
I like the fact R* doesn't focus on just making hollywood like trailers, but also post videos about the game technology and gameplay, just like they did with LA Noire. I think that's also why their games are so good, they care about the technology and the features/ideas behind it so it s unique in its genre.

Well yes. They did more stuff for MP3 than their any other game actually.
But they never show pure game before release. only seconds in trailers etc.
After watching all the trailers, I still wasn't sure how will it actually look and play.

This is the first multi-disc game I added to my new RGH box, other than the folder structure" /Max Payne 3/Disc 1" etc., is there anything I have to alter or add to make FSD disc swap automatically? And in my gameslist, I now have two identically looking icons for Max Payne 3, I guess there are two entries, for both discs, but they're still named the same, is that normal or are multi-disc games supposed to only be one entry on the gameslist and if so, how do I correct my problem?

this..their games are well known ( no need for special marketing ) , I personally have to play or at least try their games..love them all.  |

I fased a freeze just before chapter 5 these freezes does happens with xpg releases

Nope, it only happens with XPG release.I faced the same freeze issue with Witcher 2 where it frooze exactly at that point of time twice and it was not only me many faced that freeze, XPG arent one of the best when it comes to ripping the disc.

im dieing to know what old school mode is, i hope u get to play as max with a shit eating grin on his face like MP1.
looks like its gonna take a long time to get to it though, seems you have to play through hard, than hardcore, than finally old school unlocks
anybody know anything about the mode?

Yeah, I thought about it as well. Maybe they remove the weapon limit so you can carry everything a'la Max Payne 1 & 2? Would be kind of stupid if all it did is increase the difficulty even more.

Reached Chapter 8 , thing I'm stucked here can't find any doors to go there is this a round area which has 4 stairways (small ones) its after the max went to visit her wife.

I have many XPG rlses , they all work fine..this is the first time I hear this. You guys and your 360 problems .. I can't remember last time I had a freeze or any other serious bug in a game. Maybe during my burning discs era but after I did RGH = none. |

Yes its happening with xpg releases u can check 360 ISO too I think when the game data reaches the end of disc that's when freezes happens end of disc 1 same thing happened for witcher right before disc 2
