DAO/SAO. I think that it's my CD-RW. It's amazing. I don't have any problems with burning games like Cycling Manager 4 or Radsport Manager 2005.
One year ago when CyM4 was relased, on another forum people can't burn it.
Only I burn it. I don't know why, but maybe it's luck? But I don't think so. It must be my CD-RW. |
I got a NEC 2510A DVD burner and it also works here, no idea why really, just like you, i guess we are just lucky

Then you do something wrong, works fine for me. Deactivate all your drives till you don't get the message insert the disc in another drive and use starforce nightmare with disable node button. Many starforce games run by me with mini image just after using this button. I have tested it with daemon tools, mounted mini image and started the game.
It works 100% with this release Rad_Sport_Manager_Pro_2005 Legends, dont think, it works with another language versions since there are different language patches. Installed this german patch.

you should only use "disable node" if you have a SCSI drive right? Otherwise you should use "disable cd", am i correct?
I will try this starforce nightmare app, see if it works

Doesn't work for me.
Disabled CD and node using starforce nightmare. Checked it and both my CD and DVD were not there.
So far so good, untill I tried the mini-image only to get the message that I have to put the disc in another drive (despite my drives being disabled by starforce nightare).
Tried using the second mini-image (as mentioned in the post above) from the Volkswagen release but to no avail. Still get that damn "put it in another drive".
So yea any suggestions are welcome.

Even if you disconnected te cd/dv player you still have to "dissable node" in/with starforce nightmare.
Just tested it, with enabled it won't run and when dissabled it does.
Hope this solves it.

And did you unplug you cd drive or did in your bios?
And if 'delete' your cd drive, do you have to do that every time you play it? or just once?
