How did you build your image? Any issues with your profile? |
download dashlaunch open up launch .ini change in the ini file
Default = flashmu:\FSD\default.xex
Power = flashmu:\FSD\default.xex
I have Jasper with 256 mb internal memory so thats why it says flashmu:
if you want to load FSD from xbox hdd change flashmu to hdd: if you want to load FSD from usb harddisk then change flashmu to usb:.
copy launch.ini to the directoyr where dashlaunch executable file (defeault.xex) is located then start dashlaunch press a to update dashlaunch.

As said the launch.ini is already there but since the image was built without dashlaunch the launch properties were erased so would require to install dashlaunch

Dashlaunch is there by "default" as it's part of the process of getting a hacked machine to run a pretty much anything and the foundation of homebrew dash.
And yes, you should ask for your CPU key and a back up of your x360s NAND. It's not necessary, as you can get those pretty easy (at least your CPU key) but it's highly recommended you have a back up of the NAND dump.
As for what you need, I recommend getting these:
- FreeStyleDash -- get latest FSD (2.2 - but you can update it if you hock it up to anything with internet access) and the MetroDash skin. I hate the NXE metro dash, but FSD with MetroDash 3.7 (don't like the canges in 3.8 ) skin I the best thing that happened to my console.
- xexmenue 1.1 -- the equivalent of win explore for the x360.
- XM360 -- this unlocks DLC's and XBLA titles alreay on your console. It also tracks you title updates and can back them up - it basically backs up the Cache folder.
- NXE2GOD -- transforms games you have already instaled on you internal HDD, to GOD - that's discless - games, directly from your console. So you can install games you already have, from their disc and run them through NXE2GOD.
- Content Manager -- to transfer games, XBLA, DLC, TU, Media Update... pretty much anything that's native to the x360. I recommend this as it transfers all that on it's own without you having to manually move and know where everything goes/should go. It also reads every file and tells what it is.
However I think this is only as useful if you have an internal HDD as everything goes directly to that. For external HDD, I have no idea what's recommended.
- ISO2GOD 1.3.6 -- this + Content Manager is what I use every time I put a new (disc) game on my box. Hassle free and no a single problem so far.
Unless I forgot something, that's about it.

I recently added Max Payne 3 to my external HDD, extracting the two ISOs with exiso and ftp:ing over the files to the folder Max Payne/Disc 1 and Max Payne 3/Disc 2 respectively.
But, in my games list, I have two identical Max Payne 3 entries, the only difference is that one is associated with the Disc 1 folder and the other Disc 2 folder.
The thing I want to know is, have I done this correctly? Am I supposed to have two identical entries or is there supposed to be only one Max Payne 3 entry that'll automatically switch discs when the time comes. I also have tried this with Rage and thus have three identical entires in the gameslist. I appreciate any form of help.

Yes you are fine. You can "hide" one of the disc selecting on disc, and choosing to "Move it to a different category".. Choose one that doesn't exist, and it will disappear

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YEAH GLITCHERS AND 'TAGGERS!!

This is a collection of most of the Xbox Live Indie Games. A handful of games may be missing, but the majority of the games should be included. It is a collection of over 2000 games.
- All games are sorted alphabetically in their own folders.
- There are a couple of unnamed games which are in the Untitled directory
- The title update which is needed to play the games is included as well
And most importantly -- all games are archived in their own .rar file. This allows you to pick any game you want without downloading the whole pack.
--
GAMES INCLUDED:
Due to the large amount of games, the list is available here:
http://pastebin.com/mTUKd9ZR
--
NOTES:
- These games only work on a RGH/JTAG console with Dashlaunch installed.
- The options FAKELIVE and SIGNNOTICE need to be set to TRUE in your launch.ini
- Your ethernet cable needs to be UNPLUGGED. Same for Wi-Fi.
- Indie Games have to be started from the RETAIL DASHBOARD. They are not recognized in Freestyle Dash.
- All Indie Games go to the folder (Content/00000000000/584E07D2/00000002)
- The included Title Update goes in (Content/00000000000/584E07D2/000B0000)
Size: 76.5GB

This is awesome news to me, I've always lamented the loss of my Indie games from not being online and HATED that Microsoft limited them to only work when signed in.
