The Check could take a bit longer than it takes with original - and 100% CPU is normal..

It works for me!
-Install the game.
-Install the patch.
-Disconnect all cd/dvd drive.
-Disable node withe starforce nightmare.
-Mount mini-image with Daemon Tools.
-Play the game.
It doesn't work if node is enable...

So how do I do this the correct way?:
- unplug 4-pin power connector from my cd and dvd drive (do i need to
unplug anything else?)
- boot up
- disable node via nightmare
- mount mini-image using D-tools
- try it
- close radsport manager
- Enable node
- shut down PC
- plug my drives in again
- boot up (It will recognize my drives again won't it?)

Try to unplug the ide too.[/quote]

can't you just disable them with something? like in the bios or so
then just unplug them?

try it - didn't work for me regarding starforce 3.5 in the exe...
The Patch isn't installed if there is only a command screen o_O

hello he what i did
1) mount game
2) install game
3) apply patch
4) mount mini image
5) starforce did disable nod and disable cd
6) run game but it says put it in another drive :s
can somebody tell me what i did wrong? i don't want to unplug my cd drive is there any program that can just disable it ? :/

no there isn't - coz of new starforce-version u have to unplug it..

So now I'm lost, one says unplug them both (4-pinner and IDE cable) and the another one says the 4 pinner only.
I'm going to try unplugging the both and see what that gives.

dissable cd doesn't work, you have to unplug the cd-player.

I'm still having trouble with this, I have disconnected my drives and disabled node with SFNM but Starforce just freezes up whilst scanning the image and never gets past about 25% on the progress bar.

rsmp-legends.mds is the one I am using. And I have discovered that if you leave the thing alone for about 10 minutes it unfreezes and tells you that it couldn't verify the disk. Blef.
