I couldn't agree more! make sure to use the "max buyout" filter at the bottom of the filters. Start with low number, like 1000 and only go up if nothing shows up. THis is for rares tho. Legendary are way overpriced.
But the rares you can buy for almost free, are seriously fucking kickass.

I wouldn't buy any legendaries or uniques anyhow, I prefer to find those myself - gives more incentive for exploration (damn you fog of war, I must clear you!!!) -- but the rares? Egh, if I don't find anything good for a while, I'll just snag something from the AH. So far I've only bought chest/helm and the gems.

main problem with BS is, the randomness of stats you can get.
Sure its great to craft a rare with 4 random properties...
until you find out , just how random those are ...
Lost count on all the stupid str/int gear i got lol.
And those cost more to craft once , then to buy 4 times ^^

Cool story basement bros. Supposedly the koreans are cheating inferno mode by banner rushing the entire place until boss fights. Luckily that wont work at all for hardcore mode so it will be nice to see who clears hardcore.

5 or 6 times per act a floating boss will come and taunt me about how I'll never find the magic sword hilt inside the ancient cavern. You just told me where it is, you moron.
Or they'll pop up and gloat about how they tricked me and while I was doing one thing, they launched a surprised attack on something else. Then I go and stop their surprise attack. Why are you telling me this you idiot?
Or a boss being surprised the Lord of LIES actually LIED to them
It's like a parody of bad guys worthy of an Austin Powers movie but these are supposed to be the most ancient evils in the world and they're just flat out stupid.
This is the worst video game story I've ever seen, worse than Bad Dudes even

WHich is why I can't support it. Played the shit out of Diablo 1 and Diablo 2. Think I've still got my original Diablo 1 copy in my parents attic. As far as I am concerned now, Blizzard is dead to me. Starcraft 2 in 3 parts, Diablo 3 only online for single player bullshit (and $60 to boot)
It's an absolute shame when companies forget where they came from. Blizzard is a shadow of it's former self. They used to have a serious reputation for quality and amazingness. Now they're just like the rest.

I actually think they are worse than EA these days, which is at least trying to be better. But same, the constant online connection + no LAN is a big no-no for me, LAN and offline was the main reason I bought Diablo II, not Battle.net.
StarCraft 2 was already dead to me because of no LAN, but I guess the same will go with Diablo 3 which is even worse since no solo at all...
