Haha, too right! I'm not going anywhere near HC mode. I think my rage at dying to these creatures and losing my character would cause my PC to sympathetically explode Very Happy

Sadly I'm not a Barb, just a Monk and I've changed my skills around a bit - give some AoE ranged effects that can be used to keep the bombers at bay.

I don't get why so many people are complaining. The problem was on launch day, but now that they fixed whatever the issue was with battle.net ... there aren't any issues. So just go enjoy the game.

heh died to them couple times too, you can kill them before they explode, or add some ranged abilities to counter them, or defensive to survive the blast, best is obviously to see them coming, not always that easy tho

how are the servers doing? Hows the lag? I've been watching streams, and people are getting pretty shitty lags and spikes. Upto 1000ms, lol. I do want to give it a try. Been playing torchlight a lot though.. Never did before/

I just killed Skeleton King, which is the limit for Starter Edition, can still play but no more quests until you upgrade. And man, that was fucking awesome. I never played previous Diablo games but this was very enjoyable. I also like the fact that you need to play harder difficulties if you want the top gear and of course, the co-op with 3 other players makes it all much more fun. As for Hardcore mode, I wouldn't even touch that. Seriously, a little lag spike or some mofo mob hiding in the shadows and voila char. I think I'd throw my PC out of the window.

So far today; good as gold! No lag, no connection issues, no problems whatsoever... thankfully.

One thing that's really annoying me about the game, is the time-sensitive nature of somethings, especially Leah's journals. If you don't run back to camp and check her journal everytime you finish a quest, you could miss out on more lore and info. I've probably got maybe five or six out of SIXTEEN of her journal entries now. I wish it would give you them all ... I mean, what the fuck? Does she write a page and then destroy it when she writes the next one? Is her journal made with an Etch-a-Sketch? Laughing

Take a look at the europe and us forums in the hardcore section and their are numerous posts of people characters getting killed because of the lag
One guy said that the final boss of diablo that none will be able to kill is the LAG boss.

Anyone have or see a scan of the rear of the box, some guy posted that a permanent broadband connection is not listed in the requirements, just a broadband connection, if so would that nullify any eula or come under false advertising especially in europe

:O I didn't even know that she wrote stuff into her journal after every quest. Does that start from the very first time you meet her? Or later on in the game?

This game annoys me. Latency is ~ 200 but it doesnt seem laggy at all, game was supposed to have login problems but it never happened to me, no cheesy dialogue, mobs are varied, gameplay is relatively awesome, cant find anything to bitch about, damit!!!

guys, i've equipped a lot of items to increase magical drops but i wonder if even rare and legendary are affected or just magical as the game said.

"Magic" find applies to any weapon or piece of equipment that is enchanted or has bonuses on it, even just a standard socketed weapon/armour.

No? What if you have an unstable isp? Keep dc'ing and ying. So annoying, and so god damn unnecessary for someone who plays single player. The game is good, but no issues? Open your eyes.

I don't know about you guys. I played around 8 hours on my demon hunter in the last 2 days and I didn't have any problems with disconnections ( 0 until now), login or lag ( ~65-200ms today, it was worse yesterday).
