To me, the best way to see how good a player is is to check:
1. Team score (This game is a team based game)
2. Kills vs. Deaths, if you've got a lower killscore than deathscore, you suck.
3. Captures/Assists
The rest don't mean much to me.

Why?! Ill tell you why!
Because a player with 500 kills and 1000 deaths is going to be ranked higher than a player with 100 kills and 50 deaths, even if the teamscore is equal between the 2 players. Get my point?
The more you play the more points you get. The people that are lance corprals now arent that because they are good, just look at more than half of those signatures, ppls scores suck! No they are lance corprals because they played longer than the ones that arent.
And that makes the ranking system useless. I dont care how long a player has been playing, so why annoy me with a huge friggen rank icon ingame? "THIS PLAYER HAS BEEN PLAYING ALOT!!" oooh ok.. um.... good can he help me get the flag now perhaps??

No, I'm Lance Corperal because I'm damn good. It's rare that I enter a game and come out without a medal (and my gold medals fat outweigh my silver and bronze medals), and yes I DO teamplay.
Realize that I'm not cockwaving at the moment. I'm just happy I found something I'm naturally good at from the first second I've been playing.

and i agree, whoever dies more than they kill suck lol, i dont care if you are an engineer OMG, why is there always such a shortage of engineers?! fuckin because of their damn crap shotgun, a shotgun in an open area game..... crazy, they should get an mp5 or something, the same weapon that the medics have in the diff races, because shit, why not?? a shotgun is just a joke

Hey hey. I'm kamikaze. No matter what hell is going on in an enemy base I always head in and try to take some guys out so the other people on my team can get in and try to capture it. Plus I've been always put on the US and I'm always a medic and I hate that POS medic gun for the US.

And I really hate that medic gun for the US. I love being the medic but hate that gun. Got me killed so many times. If it was full auto I would get a lot of guys. I usually do when I'm on the other teams.

Ranking Questions FAQ

Q. When will I get promotions
A. 500 points gets PFC (private First Class)
1000 Points gets Lance Corporal
10000 Points is Corporal - this is all we know so far
Q. I have more than 500 points, my rank hasn't changed
A. Sometimes it doesn't show right away, best thing to do is logout, log back in, if it does not update, join a ranked server and score a point, this usually is enough for it to realize you should be promoted and will give you the rank. But you will still need to logout and back in again for it to show in BFHQ.
Q. I have more than 1000 points, 10,000 points etc.
A. See above.
Q. when can I unlock my first weapon
A. When the game tells you that you are Lance Corporal on login
Q. What weapon can I unloock
A. Any weapon you choose, doesn't matter if you have never been a sniper you can still unlock the 50 cal.
Q. How many weapons can I unlock at a time?
A. One only, so choose wisely Make sure it is what you really want.
Q. How long until I can unlock my 2nd weapon?
A. Private- No Unlocks
PFC- No
Lance Corporal- 1st unlock
Corporal- 2nd Unlock
Sergeant- 3rd Unlock
Staff Sergeant- 4th Unlock
Gunnery Sergeant- 5th Unlock
Master Sergeant- 6th Unlock
First Sergeant- No Unlocks
Master Gunnery Sergeant- Last Unlock
Q. Where can I use my unlocked weapon
A. Any ranked server will allow you to play with your new toy
Q.All my stats, including awards and rank are gone!
I finish playing on a ranked server and I go to check to see if my score was updated. After taking three times as long as usual, I see that my stats are completely gone!
What is going on?
A. Just logout and log back in, this only means that the game had a hard time connecting to the stats server

If anyone remembers I mentioned my friend who had a 2.8 ghz, 512 ddr ram, but a 5200 and it ran like shit. He upgrade to a 6600 256MB and to 1.5 ddr ram and now he can run it on max and it runs smooth.

im so sick of retarded TK system in this game. 3 morons jump under my tank. then i see smoking chopter of our team which is EMPTY, so i shoot it so it will spawn faster, bam, 5 more TK's. from 50 points and 1st place i got to like 0 and also lost interest in game for entire day.
once there was a moron who entire match tryed every possible way to cross in my way so i TK him, and after few his not forgiving votes get me banned, he didnt succeed thou.
or some fucker jumps on your buggy and yuo start driving - bam TK.
or u move 1 milimeter with a tank backwards - bam TK.
