so, i got into beta.
din't touched a dota type game in years.
it took me 5 minutes and a google search to find out how to buy a damn item from the shop.
played a few matches, they take way to long. 50+ minutes. i dont have time to stay that much focused usually.
but i had fun, and will play again. not a bad game.

....Keybinds are completely fine what is wrong with them? And yes you can bind shop.

Just beta and played few matches. As i was playing Dota for a long time even in leagues, i must say it really feels cheezy.
I do not like the graphic style of it, the shop is horrible mess, sl sry... the default binds are horrible, i know i can change them, but seriously...
I was looking forward to this, but as i see it, i think it wont be as good as everybody is saying, and i think it will be Valves worse game.
The Matchmaking is good, and the UI feels decent, but everything from Animations to models to graphic style is just plain bad, there are just too many remakes of Dota arround to make Dota 2 looks good, i can say that we really dont need another Dota game, even if its the closest thing you can get to Original Dota.

I hope it wont be same F2P model as League Of Legends have with its hero buying. If not i would love to see how they will work it out to earn some money out of it and still have a good game.

Im thinking they will try remedy the community arround games like these by making everybody love eachother in the butt with training to get rewards like boots and hats for their chars.

God I hope not. That's what I hated most about LoL when I tried it, next to runes system. I'm sure I could find other silly nonsensical things in LoL if I delved more into it. I hated being forced to play champions/heroes which I didn't enjoy in order to unlock those that I wanted to try out, and only to find out that I wasted my (insert whatever the currency you use to unlock stuff in that game), because I don't actually like that hero.

Dota 2 is one of the highest played games on steam now even in beta
If they make it open now it will be millions of people. Just think of all the russians and brazilians that will hammer the game. I think they are trying to figure out how to solve that conundrum
