All I can say its about time,
I can remember reading about superman returns about ten years ago,
then Nicolas Cage was going to play superman,
just goes to show how long it takes to get a movie up and running

Although I always thought the guy in smallville made a good young superman, this guy looks younger then him, and the film is based way after he moved out of smallville, right?

Well, it's not that bad.
He does have the sexy farm-boy looks Clark Kent should have.
And he doesn’t look half-bad in a costume though it does stray away a bit from the original;

Well superman was all about red, white and blue; au naturel American colours. But these days wearing bright red undies makes you look kind of 'gay'
They might have had to darken it to maintain the masculinity of superman.
