This is because of the magnet links. All kind of low bandwidth folks screw the speed. Use private trackers with no DHT allowed and you will get good speeds.

They are very strict with such things. They could easily trace that temp account if you didn't use a proxy or something.

They can, yes. But I don't think they will, you're in the clear. But just be careful in the future, they really go butthurt when people use VPN to bypass regional pricing.
