For some reason whenever I run the playmaxpayne3.exe it just auto errors and doesnt even work, even tried the manual patch/crack etc, even installed the crappy social club app, still nothing...
does it HAVE to be installed to the C:\ drive?

Haven't bought the game.
Installed it through the 4 iso release, let the updater update at the end of the installation, quit out of the game when it auto launched, applied the crack, went back into the game and created a social account, let it verify and that's where it ends for me.
Did i miss a step somewhere?

1. Installed the game (P2P release, 4 DVDs).
2. Installed Rockstar Games Social Club from Disc 4.
3. Let Launcher do all the updates.
4. Renamed the folder to remove spaces (now it's in D:\Games\MaxPayne3) and also changed the according registry key (I know I could have avoided that by installing in a folder without spaces in Step 1, but I hadn't seen that until then).
5. Applied Revolt crack.
6. Started the game, allowed everything through my firewall (by blocking it I couldn't go past the log-in to RGSC step).
7. Logged in with my regular RGSC account through the game, story started fine.
Only issue I have is that I see the Windows mouse cursor along with the game's, and they're in different positions on the screen, which is distracting. Anyone know why that's happening? (Windows XP)
