Every time I go to customize my keyboard controls, it switches it back to default. I set up all my controls and either I'm blind or stupid, but I have to hit esc to get out of the keyboard config and it makes me reset everything to default. I can't find an "accept" button or anything... anyone have this issue or know how to save the controls? Very frustrating.

I installed a rip (2012) with enclosed reloaded, but when I start it, it wants to sign in in the social club..?

Apart from the terribly slow aiming during shoordodge and while lying on the floor, I have a second major complaint: why the fuck does Max change weapons after cut scenes? I can't stand the moments when I approach a door with my trusty assault rifle or shotgun ready to deal some pain, a cut scene triggers as I enter the room and I'm thrown into a firefight - but Max is suddenly aiming with his pistol. WTF?!?
Sometimes I'm almost willing to ignore the weapon variety and just play the whole game with the same standard pistol so I don't have to switch weapons all the time.
Chapter 6 was a perfect example. Due to its smaller spaces it practically calls for some shotgun action, but the game just refuses me the right to do so. The chapter is very cutscene-heavy, which is fine by me, but each cutscene forces me into a firefight with the default pistol.
I really hope Rockstar patches this for future playthroughs, since it's a potential variety killer. Currently, you either have to switch back to your desired weapon in the middle of every other firefight (and take a lot of damage as you do so) or just play it with the default pistol for 10+ hours.

dont hit esc, use the mouse and click "back" in the lower right corner of the screen?

I mean all that political corruption, the summary executions, people going against their own family, the total disregard for human life. Also, Max is bitterer than ever in this game.

Maybe you're referring to the atmospheric quality of the previous games.

Well the latest gameplay videos surely looked good 
I finally found myself some time to play Max, just finished the 5th chapter, what can I say, it's incredibly solid and entertaining. My only gripe is the amount of cinematics, a tad too high at times since they break the pace, but other than that, it's a damn fine game.
The story is quite "linear" so far, but I guess some good surprise is on the way

My oh my. Why, you have redeemed yourself quite a bit with this one R*. So you *can* in fact still do PC games properly?
Runs like a charm, the gameplay is solid as a rock and it looks pretty good (some lacking textures here and there, but lighting was done very well). The narration is 100% Max Payne, as is the gameplay...but it still doesn't feel like Max Payne. It really does lack that noir atmosphere and I do miss the comics 
That said, I went into this without expecting the old MP in that regard, so I'm perfectly fine with it. What's left is the first fucking "cover" shooter that actually plays well; most notably because it handles like a PC game. Can rebind everything, no bullshit acceleration and it just plays as seamless as the old ones. On top of that, for a shooter that is not MP ( ) it has the best storytelling we've seen in a long, long time.
I do agree with ixi though, there's just a few cutscenes too many and they overuse the flashback effects too much; guess they were trying to create the same feeling as in the old games 
Still, Max's gravel voice, grumpy attitude and sarcasm are still there

the injector that i got, the KoA one, works only on DX9.
