I looked the guys info up for the domain name. It lists to different locations for his address, once in BC and the other in Penn. Very supsicious. Also suspicious, is that google maps could not find the physical location in BC or in Penn. Buyer Beware if you ask me.

i think this is a great idea and i intend on trying it out. perfect for getting the entire LAN online, unless you prefer to spend $50 per machine which has always been a shitty archaic policy if you ask me. how come money always gets in the way of progress?

all these companies that are claiming piracy is ruining them should look into their administration departments, where the true pirates dwell.

I thought he was doing a great job until he sent me my CoD:UO key. The key was the one that Money posted in their original nfo when they released it. I don't know if he thought I wouldn't notice or if he didn't know that it was posted all over the internet or what, but it is suspicious.

Anyway, I emailed him and he promised a refund, so that should turn out alright.

And on a side note, the BF2 key, and a couple of other games I got from the site work fine.

It's for security Wink I don't want you knowing where I live or anyone else... and "tcghost," CoD UO was out of stock for the longest time, and it still is, and I offered you a full refund way back a month or so ago when you ordered but you said you would wait. So I tried my best to get a key for you and had to buy it from a friend but I never checked it first as I'm busy these days... but ya, as I said refund is coming.

Hrm you know I'm looking at this again, and its really not such a great deal.
I believe the prices are in USD, and that works out to $36.52 CDN approx $21 less than purchasing the full game new in box at Wal-mart. With a guarentee on the key, not to mention the disk, etc.
Not even half off..for just the key.
I don't think I'll be purchasing anything unless its more than 50% off what I can pay in the store...

Elaborate.

Who's the sucker? He who buys BF2 in the shops for the overpriced retail price, or he who only got the key for 1/4th of the retail cost while he has BF2 burned on a disk somewhere?

I think the answer is obvious. Unless you really really need the box/manual.

how do you figure its 1/4 of the retail price? His price is $30..that would mean the retail price is $120.
Lets check... hmmm nope. $50.
For those keeping score at home that's 3/5 of the price.
bf vietnam?
GKS: $11
EBGames: $30
about 1/3.

BF 1942:
GKS: $9
EBGames: $20
just under 1/2

Were this an authenticated guarenteed source It'd be somewhat reasonable. As it stands, you're chancing it for not a huge savings.

All prices USD for comparrison.

it was $29.95 when I looked at it yesterday. something about 'low stock pricing'.
Regardless at $23.95 its still almost 1/2 of the retail price 47.9% if you'd like to get picky. A far cry from 1/4 the price.

are you kidding me? why would somone want to give up their brand new bf2 key for bf1/v, considering that most of the communitys of both bf1+v will eventually move onto 2 and and not to mention the fact that theres so much more to do including newer features! better visuals ect. also the price of bf1/v will be dropping dramatically infact I bet if you go on ebay you'll find lots of people wanting to get rid so they can "upgrade"

No deal.

Are you sure about this? I dont have to have install disk to proceed? It says installation of retail standard cd/dvd is required before this can proceed, etc.

Yes you do need the game installed/CD inserted to add HL2 CD Key to an account, but during checkout you can add your STEAM login and I add it for you. Some people make new account or some people use an existing account it's up to you pretty much.

Half-Life 2 is being sold for about half price of STEAM or more (forget the actual price they are selling). Battlefield 2, even if it is out of stock, was being sold for $23.95 USD. In Canadian dollars that is around $30 CAD, not 36.52 (not sure where you got that figure). Wal-Mart sells the game for $49.98 USD. I am selling then for almost half price, maybe 40% lower.

But hey, what am I doing defending my own website when the majority have had no problems with it Razz BTW. I purchased a semi dedicated server and I am sponsoring clan websites. I have one already hosted at bluex.gamekeystore.com and another one is coming very very soon. You can use your own domain and everything, all I ask is a small ad on your website recognizing the sponsorization. Also, you do get a button ad on the main GKS website under a "Sponsored" heading side panel for your clan recognition as well Wink

Don't draw to conclusions. I paid 18 USD for BF2 key from his first stock, and it costs 50 or 55 euro in Dutch shops. So yes, it is indeed 1/4th if I were to buy it from the shops in my town that only have it for 55 Euro.

I don't say this a lot and I'm saying this playfully, but, owned.

So you're using a price that is non-existent compared to a price that no one can verify to justify your claim of 1/4? wow... owned indeed.

as I stated, when I was on your site the price was 29.95 due to 'low stock pricing' that is when I wrote that message.
Regardless I was simply replying to someone's claim that the price was 1/4 of the retail price which NONE of them are.

Why are you bothered about that when 99 times out of 100 the person will be using it with a warezed copy anyway? Using an illegal copy then refusing to use a key that may be illegal is a touch hypocritical.

Seeing how it is illegal to use a backup copy if you do not possess the original, I'd say the sucker is the one who buys only the key. Strictly from a legal perspective of course.

Ya, indeed no games are really 1/4 the price but it really depends on what game and where you live. About legal issues and having a backup copy well, if you buy the CD Key, a portion of the money IS going towards EA or Valve or w/e company is distrubuting the game. That makes you the legal owner. Maybe not of the box but of the CD Key from the box which you are also buying but just not recieving... if that makes sense Wink

So.. if i pay for the shipping. Will you send me the box? Which i am buy but not recieving. Your gonna throw it out anyways right? Since i am the legal owner of it. If that makes sense.

Or since you kinda also say i just own the cd-key from the box. Rip it off and send it? Its my legal property right?Ill pay the shipping. If that makes sense.

Had to post both becasue last line of your post did not make sense.
