Yeah, it was one thing that I didn't like, but I love that they finally introduced things that I ALWAYS wanted to do in a Spidey game:

1) Sticking thugs with web to the ground (and not just "wrap" them) [I think you were able to make them swing from lamp posts in Ultimate Spider-Man, which was great as well)
2) Stop chases with cars by sticking the car to a huge web between buildings.

So Much Win

They are cheating with the web swing and close camera again. It doesn't actually attach to buildings Sad

It's like back to Spider Man 2 where he shot the web towards the sky Sad I want spidey to be somehow grounded in the physics.

Yea, I agree. It allows for a more fluent city navigation, but I'd be willing to trade it for proper environment dependent web-swinging.

Didn't Ultimate Spider Man have web-swinging that required buildings and lamp poles and such to be around? I remember *really* enjoying Ultimate Spider Man swinging mechanics.

It's a superhero game. Spidey is supposed to have this arachnid sense, isn't he?

Looks really similar yes, but given the fact that Batman AA/AC have the best combat system on the market I don't see the problem Smile
The real question is: can they pull off a system as polished and responsive as the one from Batman ? Let's hope so

Yeah, at least counter indicators make sense when it's a Spidey game, unlike Batman.

Spider-man is a mutant with more-than-human abilities. Batman is still a human.

Try putting Wolverine against Batman. Let's see who wins.

Wolverine almost cannot be killed. Hell, he was RIPPED IN HALF by Hulk and still recovered.

And please, don't even compare ripping in half by Hulk to Bane breaking Batman's back.

Looks sweet. The only thing I haven't liked so far is that the streets look kinda empty in all those videos they've released.

So we can only attach Spiderman to specific spots that are marked like that? Spiderman should be able to climb anywhere on those walls and that ceiling.

Or is it because that's a tutorial level?
