Receiver game mechanics:

Receiver story & launch trailer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=NmqterXyc-w

TL;DW

The game is a very unusual FPS with very advanced weapon mechanics. The story is set in a futuristic setting ( I think), with a fantastic soundtrack (definitely reminding me of Deus Ex). The game has permadeath and no saves, if you die once you start over. The level(s) are completely randomized.

The game was created in 7 days by the same guys that are currently developing Overgrowth, a sequel to Lugaru.

If you already preordered Overgrowth, you get this game for free ( just go to the Wolfire preorder forums and the link is there.)

If you didn't, the price is 5 bucks.

This was up on BCG earlier, but it's since been removed.. so I'm not sure whether it even worked or not.

Your loss. It isn't even half as bad as Trespasser in terms of control, and the music is bloody fantastic.

If they're supported that is, and your machine is from the 90's

Trespasser was released 14 years ago. don't forget about this. Everything was physics driven. Animations were based on velocity and physics. Ragdoll etc.
1998 Surprised

THIS was my very personal benchmark looong time ago. Never played it really long because of the shitty "arm hand ragdoll whatever" control. iirc you could bind 3 keys only for your arms to move to every direction... Tztztz concept of the 90´s. Definitely something I will my grandchildren tell about lol
