More of a bad repack of what 3dm does. Also is using the crack for 1.0.1.674. Checked now and the exe files are the ones from the beta patch.
3DM released a cracked repack an hour after our distinguished Revolt made that crappy mix. Previously, 3DM released the Gods and Kings files, but no crack. Revolt mixed the beta patch with the Gods and Kings files and slapped them onto SkidRow's release. So, there are now wonders about any complains.
If i trust a guy who does repacks, that's SIMON from the demon's place. At least, that guy knows what he's doing and when he must doing it.

Have you tried editing Expansion1.Civ5Pkg?
It's a long shot, but maybe if you change the app ID from 16872 to 16879 it will work?

Barely. There seems to be a couple of missing files. The release is 1.0.1.675, so the game doesn't work too well. Wait for a scene release.

Have you tried editing Expansion1.Civ5Pkg?
It's a long shot, but maybe if you change the app ID from 16872 to 16879 it will work? |
Tried it, it seems to change the intro and the menu background to a new Gods & Kings-one but all the new content is missing so no luck there.

Is revolt release working on top of skidrow release ? does revolt include all the patches since then ?

Revolt release it's not up-to-date. See my previous post about it. It has a couple of issues, so either wait for scene, or grab 3DM or Ali213 versions.

For me, the Revolt release isn´t workling correctly. Got CTD everytime I click Next in the Mod screen (everything deactivated, no DLC checked, every cache and mod folder deleted). So i just copied the Ali123 crack over the Revolt release et voila everything´s good. This should work till "I´m allowed to play my european preorder" :/

Well, Revolt seems working great for me. Just finished a full short game. I did get a few errors after selecting a civilization (in Windows) but nothing critical, the game went on normally.

Tried two different US VPNs, no luck.
They could store your region at the time of purchase and use it to check the time of release.

I haven't been able to unlock it with a US VPN either. I think that FISKER_Q is probably right about the app IDs, i.e. they need to do something on their side to replace the "pre-order" one with the "expansion" one, which is not gonna happen until the official release date.

hah there are a few different sized releases I see. A couple are 7.66 gigs.. One is 3 gigs, I thought the revolts one was 1.33/// Fuck it I"ll wait too

Hey, mate. Grab the Ali213 repack from the 'hunt or the 3DM version from their own torrent site. Avoid the revolt release, like the plague. It's using the beta patch 1.0.1.674 crack from 3DM, while the release should be 1.0.1.675. No wonder that there are so many complaints about missing textures, crashes and other "goodies".
Both Ali213 and 3DM versions are around 3gb.

I know. The commies don't have much of a speed. The ex-commies on the other hand....
Scratch Ali 213. Momentarily, it has the old crack and it's missing the Babylon DLC. I'll test 3DM next.
