Wadjet Eye Games (Gemini Rue) and xii games joined forces to create a new adventure: Resonance.

Screenshots, trailer, and preorder info: http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/resonance

More info: http://xiigames.com/resonance/

Release date: 06-19-12

From what I see I have to say I'm intrigued, and at 9.99 $ (8.99 for those who preorder)it seems to be a steal.

Seems there is a playable demo out for people that pre-ordered on GOG. Anyone play it and got a mini-review?

I grabbed the preorder when GOG announced it during their May 31st conference. It's definitely an interesting game, though sadly the engine doesn't like high resolutions and feels very strange when set via 2/3/4x scaling, the mouse ends up being faster on x axis than y axis, which is a shame.

Oh god yes. Blackwell Deception and Gemini Rue were my 2 favourite adventure games last year.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

If you bought the BMT/GOG version as a PREORDER, ie; before today, you can email the developers and ask for a Steam key - just be sure to include a screen cap of your preorder receipt.

If you buy it on the homepage, you get a Steam key directly.

What's with that hump legend that if you buy a Steam key directly from devs that Steam is not charging a single cent?

I read somewhere on the web that Steam allows developers to give away free keys for their games, but I don't remember where.

Looks good! I enjoyed every Wadjet Eye game I've played. I didn't even hear about this game, so it is a pleasant surprise.

I've played through the demo, and right now I'm finishing the The dark eye adventure first, but I'm eager to play this! Very Happy

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Which one?

The first chapter of Resonance was quite intriguing and sucked me right in. It has the potential to become a classic imo.

The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav is an excellent adventure which gets better later on, but the english snycro doesnt work so good in my eyes. All the puzzles I've come across until now were on the easier side though. I'm hoping to finish it today so I can get on with Resonance.

Amazing game and sold at a very low price. 10€ seems normal for a short indie game but this one took me 9 hours to complete... and it's as good as the Blackwell series and Gemini Rue Smile

Adventure fans on the hump, you MUST play this. NOW!
