Yeah that happened to me before. I didn't get it. But then the next day I played in another server and got it again.

BF2 should get the " Could Of Been " award for 2005.
It's a gr8 concept in theory, and yea, sometimes it works gr8 but most of the time it has this unfinished product feeling, unlike other mp games such as Wow, or Guild wars ( I know i know, it's different type of games...but still, they are almost perfect).
EA took money for a product that 50 % of the time won't work at its full potential - this is wrong, unfair and unpro.
I hope someday they will make a descent patch and everything will be fixed...until than, this product is a pain in the ass.
BTW.
I know some ppl think differently , plz don't flame - It won't change a thing.

The private server patch doesn't work anymore. Today i can't play on ranked servers and i have tried also to play on the servers i played yestarday evening that worked....

I was asking why any game company would care about some uselsess "Could've been"-award. You chose to take it as a flame, sure, you do that.
As for your spelling, there was no "tone", just a correction.
(By the way, I have a woman for 6 years back, and "get out" plenty, not that it's a contest or anything.)

I cannot connect to any ranked server (havent tried the non-ranked yet) with a VTL key? Is this confirmed? Or is there just some trouble with the servers? Some time ago it was very busy and CD keys couldnt be correctly authenticated.

by saying "u cant connect to any ranked server"... u mean the cdkey became invalid??? or its something else?
