I'm surprised it's getting 7-8, I was expecting 5-6.
I played the demo and couldn't finish it, plays like a generic cover shooter and by the 2nd enemy encounter I had no desire to play until the end.

Indeed, I'm quite surprised by the scores. It may be similar to the first Kane & Lynch. Fucking ass gameplay, but really cool narrative and characters.

This game is a cover shooter (which tries to be as much as possible like Bros of Boredom) so it's doomed from the start. It simply can't be good.

Cover shooting mechanics don't mean the game will be crap. Gears of War3 also have COVER MECHANICS and it's fantastic.
I don't even use much of it. In most games I run'n'gun. Even in Gears of war.
And In MP3 I was not using it almost at all

Max Payne 3 is not a cover shooter. And cover shooters don't have what you mentioned. They wouldn't be cover shooters if they would have those things. So I rest my case, a cover shooter is shit from the start.

I think an distinction has to be made between a cover shooter and a shooter with cover. The former is when your ass is glued to a wall and you peek-a-boo with your gun to take pot shots (aka Gears of War - KC  ). The latter is Max Payne 3. |

But then console hurrpadurrpa won't feel "tactical" if they glue their ass to cover to "heal " and someone comes and shoots them in the face.  It's not "authentic".

Ali213(Netshow) and 3DM have released the Steam version files of the game but it's not cracked, there was a supposed crack from Ali213 but it seems to have been removed from their site now, maybe it was based on the demo or some such and didn't work correctly.
