It's normal, ugly but normal Razz.

If you're experiencing bad framerate just disable ssao, it's terribly optimized and eats up to ~20fps for no logical reason.

Sry, but what ssao? i can't find this option on my graphic settings Confused

Ah so maybe that's why it looks fucked up:

Did you install 1.2, from what I've read it lowers quality a bit as to provide better optimizations, I've not compared but it's discussed a bit although I haven't checked for more detailed info.

1.2 fixed the Yeti crash for me - but now I can't move my character with keyboard/mouse OR 360 pad.... and 1.2 reduces res and locks it. So all-in-all

Few moments ago I rage uninstalled it for second time. Working coop or not, I am not gonna re-download this. I enjoyed few nice stealth moments, but I can not take cover shooting part ( like half of game, or more) anymore...

Ambient occlusion Smile

By the way, the patch made the game unplayable for me (30fps average), and also added random errors/crashes whereas the 1.0 version was completely fine. Great job Ubi Laughing

Tried the game after the 1.2 patch and thought a few things looked off, reinstalled and compared against 1.1 which didn't do any such optimizations but added some new shaders and other but then I compared against 1.2 which revealed some pretty large optimizations so yeah you probably don't want that part of the 1.2 update as it will impact visual quality.

EDIT:
http://www21.zippyshare.com/v/40001665/file.html

(Delete the shaders folder and then replace the files with these from 1.01, go into the \shaders\z folder and copy back bloom.shader and fxaa.shader if you want it, I "disabled" bloom this way and also removed FXAA just to be sure since I use SMAA instead.)

(Also includes the 1.02 files if you would actually want those.)

EDIT: Forgot to remove the \shaders\x_102\ (2) files, those are 1.01 shaders again but copied so I could do a comparison against the 1.02 shader files.
(For example tessellation was scaled back from 30 "something" to 10 "something", yeah I don't know shaders that well but it's pretty easy to tell that things have been scaled down.)

In case someone needed it. Very Happy

careful, i think it's fake.
why?
#1 well it's not on any scene pre db that i can see
#2 filename is sr.tcgrfs11, but if it was released by real skidrow it would be sr-tcgrfs11

yeah... ghost would prob be the better purchase (spec ops doesnt even show up in steam stats :F) but i think both will be dead within a couple weeks regardless.

spec ops due to the lack of popularity, ghost due to ubi Razz

http://static3.cdn.ubi.com/grfs/GRFS_1.2_June26.exe

old one:

new patch doesn't update Simple.bin in shader folder.
and these files are different after applying these 2 patches:

PTCforPC.dll
ubiorbitapi_r2_loader.dll
Ubiscope_BIg.dll
