I find this game really boring and average , I finished it cause I didn't had anything better to do. If this was rlsed in fall I would probably just skip it.. 5.0 / 10.

I'm at the 10th mission and I completely agree with you. The decent story isn't enough to compensate the lack of interesting gameplay elements. Shooting is just, well just as plain boring as Gears of War, there aren't particular redeeming features, at least for me :/

After playing MP3 with that awesome bullet impact and physics..everything is so damn bland now. Not even impressed with the story at all , already seen similiar plots..nothing interesting really.

It's cool KC, you like the game and find it entertaining, I don't. There's no need to make a fuss of it

You shoot a gun. bulelts kill other marines/enemies. Done. next. THIS IS GAMING. it was exciting when we were younger.
It's not gaming changing, its YOU. Just playing for years
and I like how people say that gears of war is plain boring. I've finished each game multiple times |
Then why can I replay Freedom Fighters from several years ago and have a blast but I can't even sit through 15 minutes of this? o.O

Man, some of you folks need to seriously wake up and accept that there are people who like the occasional cover shooter if it's well done. Heck, I enjoyed GoW for what it is, and I also enjoyed Hunted: The Demon Forge. Soem of you didn't, so what? Different folks, different strokes, so there is nothing bad if somebody enjoyed Spec Ops and there is nothing bad if somebody finds it boring. Jesus...

Yes, that's sums up most of the opinions here on that brainless brobrodudebro shitfest that is GoW 2 & 3
It's "fucking awesome"

Played some Gow2... wasn't impressed and from what I've seen 3 is pretty much the same but slower (or faster) and with more (or less) framerate drops.

Finished it as well. A good, quite unconventional story completely ruined by repetitive and uninspired gameplay. What a shame. 5,5/10

The game is getting got a few extra points because of the story in nearly all the reviews I've seen and I hope developers learn that
there is indeed a place for deep, dark and mature storylines in TPS. Although I hope they don't get inspired by the generic gameplay and copy it
1 and 2 are still amazing.

I played all the endings but what I chose to do first hand was...
Spoiler: | Shoot Konrad, and drop the weapon when asked by the soldiers to do so |

Spoiler: | I shot him too and I got into the epilogue with the soldiers arriving, opened fire like an insane rambo and killed them all..and then, nothing happened. I just walked away
The soldiers didn't have a leader, they rebelled against Konrad after the disaster that occurred during the evacuation, when hundreds of people died |
