Is it actually an around-the-globe flight sim or retarded like MSFlight?

Anyways, I heard that the gameplay itself is rather limited, no AI traffic, voice chatter, or things like that. As beautiful as it looks, I would miss those from FSX.

Yeah, it's really bad and generic.. it has no redeeming features whatsoever. Just a 100% copypasta of Derpinski's masterwork Laughing

Scenery is always a sacrifice. I don't think it's that bad though. GT5 is a lot worse when it comes to this "sacrifice". Long story short, don't bother bitching it that much.

This is a pc exclusive in the year 2012 that boasts to have incredible graphics...

And it does, somewhat..

It's just extremely inconsistent. That ...... thing... really looks horrible for any standards, i don't think i've seen worst looking scenery in GT5 and that's a ps3 game, 8 years old hardware and all...

Main PC : I7 12700, MSI Ventus RTX 4090 24gb, Alienware AW3423DW QD-OLED
Laptop : I5 4200H @ 3400mhz boost, GTX 850m 2gb Vram DDR3, 4gb RAM DDR3
Derpsole : Playstation 5 disc edition, Ninty Switcherino

You can't have it all. In a car game the big emphasis is making the vehicles look good, scenery also but it's down the list because after all when you're racing for real, you overlook the scenery details. You don't drive around suddenly saying.. "oh this grass sucks". Not even in GT5 for most cases.

Nice! I recommend you post this screenshot in the unofficial BF3 forums (EA decided to close the official one). I'm sure they'll appreciate your contribution.

I can't believe how good this game still looks! It aged really well. I even dare say that it looks better than most games these days. Also, the game feels soooooooooooo gooooooood! It's simply a really really great game. It should have been much more, but probably Ubishit didn't want Arkane to make it a proper RPG. Even so, it's so similar to Arx Fatalis, but better in some ways. Dishonored looks very similar in the videos to DM too. The guys at Arkane sure know how to make a game feel immersive. DM has by far the best movement system in any first person game. You actually feel like you're playing a human and not a ghost. I'm playing a stealth build now, with daggers and bow from time to time. The game is not even a stealth game, yet the stealth in it feels so damn good! Just brilliant!
