I installed the Skidrow version merely to check out the deck selection before buying legitimately - then uninstalled, and bought legitimately through Steam.

However, for some reason I start with all 30/30 green deck cards unlocked (the rest of the decks besides red at 0/30 are greyed out though). Oversight on Skidrow uninstaller er what? I HATE starting with shit unlocked - diminishes any sense of progression.

Edit - Nevermind. Apparently if you own DOTP 2012 you automatically get Garruk's deck unlocked in DOTP 2013. Bah to that bonus I say!

You can customize within the assigned decks but you can't create your own from scratch. Since it requires a minimum of 60 cards per deck you can't really customize anything until you start unlocking cards...otherwise there is no room.

There's limited customization, like Rynath explained in the post above. This is in place to keep the decks balanced. This way, you pay $10 and are on, more or less, a level playing field with everyone else. If you want full customization you have to play MTG: Online, but be prepared to spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to be on a level playing field. Trading card games (booster packs with "random" cards) are a scam.

Disable intro movies by adding _old to the end of anything you don't want to see in the movies folder.

Splashes are :
ALIENWARE_MOVIE

Intro Vid:
INTRO_EN (or whatever language you're using)

Nice to see a black/white deck included this time. If you have an artifact that decreases the cost of mana, it won't show the decreased cost in the corner of the card like the last game...but they are still working. At first I thought they were bugged, not the case though.

If your resolution or refresh rate aren't sticking, use the same trick I posted on the last page from the last game...it works here also.

I do like the new planechaser mode (which is taking over archenemy from the last installment). It can make for some long games that can change on a dime. Overall, not a bad little product here. Always better when playing with others but the AI can keep you busy for awhile. 10 decks starting at 60 cards with 30 to unlock each. That's 300 victories to open everything. I'm sure more packs will be coming though. There may be some promotional cards for pre-orders, not sure though.

Promo Codes to add 10 new cards to each deck (1 code adds 1 card to each deck) so now you have 40 extra cards per deck. For comparison, in previous game you only had 20 unlocks.

Full deck building for the 2015 version...that should be fun, I got into these games with the 2013 version and enjoyed them quite a bit but this should be great.

Them planning to sell booster packs as DLC is not so great tho but hey...there will be...other ways of getting that. Twisted Evil
