I mean "hybrid" like total war games, where you have an empire managment map and the battle maps. Like: -Jagged Aliance 2 (mercanary mangement and battle) - The UFO games (base and science management and UFo missions)

Vanilla game doesn't really have empire management as such, but some mods have building production lines and what not.

Birthright: The Gorgon's Alliance Epsilon: Game is great btw, I love it, so far it's a definite goty. It's remarkable how much has changed since the beta, stardock have been working their asses off, and it shows.
