BC2 was getting a bit boring for me towards the end. BF3 offers much more variety, I think. Even playing just one match on one map offers you plenty of opportunities to do something different every time you spawn. BC2 didn't seem to have that, at least not on the same scale.

BATTLEFIELD 4 BETA GUARANTEED ACCESS
The only way to guarantee access to the Battlefield 4 beta is to pre-order Medal of Honor Warfighter. More details about Battlefield 4 coming in November.

so it'll be coming out in Q1-Q2 2014 then? maybe?

They keep confirming, then denying, that the BF4 exists. You've got the EA Store plastering that shit all over MoHW and then the official BF Twitter claiming it's not real and that, until announced on the official Twitter, it's not coming.

The left hand hasn't got a clue what the right hand is doing Laughing

BF3 has more of those "Battlefield moments" than BC2 for me, those moments where something unexpected or hilarious or both happens and you burst out laughing.

This is true for me too. Unfortunately BC2 was very "linear" gameplay wise, and tactics were definitely primitive. Though I have to admit that seeing that kind of destruction and physics madness in an online shooter left me absolutely impressed and intrigued. Very Happy

They did patch BC2 when BF3 was around the corner, though. Plus, it's some time till the end of 2013 so I am counting on at least one patch... ah, I'm optimistic today, make that two Very Happy.

Even got the add for the BF4 beta now that I started BF3. Well better that than add to buy battlefield 3 when you launch battlefield 3..

EA has confirmed that the Battlefield 4 beta will run in the autumn of 2013, suggesting a launch October/November 2013 time.

So that battlefield / medal of honor alternating every year cycle seems right.

Well, lets hope it's a WW2 setting, so that the modern setting can live on in BF3.

I doubt it will be WW2. It seems the industry as a whole has decided that it's no longer popular enough for a major title like Battlefield or CoD. It doesn't have much in terms of gadgets or attachments either Razz

You know what, I'd like it! Even better a WW2 setting, but using only prototypes like the Super-heavy tank or the Focke-Wulf Triebflügel Laughing

so it's confirmed? Rolling Eyes

will there be Bad Company 3 as well?

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
