I think the thing is that old reloaded crack pretty much bypassed that m00-m01 enabling feature, so that's the reason why warez users got instant access to both lords and serpent DLCs from release time. I could even delete m00.pack and game would ran with both lords and serpent dlcs without issue.

P.S.
Still, if only m01 was added with steam update, that means there where 0% changes from version of DLC that was available on game release on warez copies and what are legal customers getting today. No updated assets, game balancing or anything. Just file that functions as dlc enabler, that warez users haven't even needed.

Kinda lame from devs and publishers, especially when they talk on official forums how there may be DLC assets on game disc, but that they are not yet finished at that point.

• Mighty Lords come to your service! They can learn faster than normal units and receive many powerful abilities as they progress through level-ups. You can hire these heroes as they come occasionally searching for job, find them in monster layers or even receive them as quest reward.
• Lords can use powerful Artifacts which could be found in monster dens, received as quests rewards, gained and lost during battles, bought from Trader of Artifacts or smelted to mana.

Bug Fixes and Improvements
• A player may turn on/off Victory Conditions on the Game Start.
• Mages, Veterans and Halberdies got new skills. Mages can learn to cast fireballs and Veterans now have ZoneOfControl perk.
• Implemented a News message when you successfully research a new spell.
• Implemented a News message when any of the Great Mages controls a certain percentage of Holy Grounds.
• The Unity Spell cannot be counterspelled anymore, but its casting time was made longer. Also starting to cast a Unity spell worsens relations with all Great Mages.
• A Message "A Great Mage is Defeated" now looks better.
• AI now uses Dispels smarter and more aggressively.
• Teleportation spells casting interface logic is more intuitive: now you can select a spell, then a target unit, and then a hex to move.
• Fixed an issue: an enchantment cast on a unit in transport ship is now shown properly on unit when it disembarks.
• Game loading has become faster.
• Great Mages now think 10-15% faster.
• Settlers do not receive experience points any more.
• Fixed an issue when a player could remove a "self-destruct" perk from units summoned by other units.
• Fixed a crash on clicking on a News message about a new unit if the city was destroyed.
• Fixed an issue with the unit's experience when a unit is upgraded twice the same turn.
• Fixed an issue with game camera position at the game start.
• Fixed an issue when unit movement points and "cooldown" timers could be higher than their current maximum.
• Fixed some issues with duplicating perks.
• Fixed a rare crash when a player disbands his unit.

Hmm... interesting... it seems that random spawns were another feature exclusive to pirated version that got officially "unlocked" with 1.2:

You know those Russian guys that had patches for Endless Space.

They did new patch for Warlock too.

Looking into d110.pack using unofficial unpacker, it seems some sort of eleven race is in the worlds. There seems to be multiple elven units with and some building info. Even capitol is referenced in files, so it may be full faction.

Customizing the wizard showed no perk or spell called create artifact, just tried it but I couldn't find it.

I guess it's another hidden dlc, that is unlocked with cracked version...

Essentially, it's spell that can create artifacts for heroes, for some mana. Takes 4 turns. More powerful artifacts require to research some spell, before they can be created.

Might be the next DLC then or probably a part of it at least, particularly since this new patch introduced the artifacts. Smile

Haven't gone through the files that were updated but from reading this thread it seems there's a number of possible DLC they could do or at least that's how the files that they modified makes it look, probably there will be a number of DLC releases with some content added via patches, unsure about actual expansions but we'll see what they decide to do I guess.

The artifact DLC seem overpriced, but remember the fact that Majesty's 2 DLC's are also horrendously overpriced. Warlock is a game created by the same devs. Paradox has the publishing rights in the West, while 1C Publishing has the rights for Russia. The price are almost identical Sad
