Please waldo are you gonna defend both this game and cod? Graphically they're both utter shit and there's no elitism in saying that.

Deal with it.

Don't know what he's talking,, didn't have any issue with performance..60 FPS max settings, pretty smooth..

Regarding textures it's okay..

Gameplay was short and nice, took 10-11 hours to complete main story mission..There are lot of side missions and collectables, etc.

7/10, pretty decent.

so basically it's just that one idiot with youtube channel claiming game is running bad, and for almost everyone on this forum who played it runs good. what a surprise once again some youtube idiot spreads shit about a game to get more attention. thanks for mini review, that's why i only trust this place for honest reviews, not youtube idiots and most certainly not mainstream gaming sites. What is it with the fps purists. No matter how much you delude yourself into "seeing" a difference the fact is that the human eye can barely detect any difference between 30 and 60 fps.

They should do a study by getting all these fps whores into a room and showing them games at various frame rates (like 20, 30, 40, 60, 80) and then making them guess which is which. I would be willing to bet a ton of cash that most of them would not guess correctly.

Gosh dern FPS purists!

You DO notice difference between those values.
Like i said many times before, in CoD1, i noticed the difference between 91 fps (standard) or 125 (max allowed for tournaments).

maybe because in the quake engine back then, 125 fps was bugged and allowed to jump further and move faster ? ^^

Not move faster, but you could do some jumps that you couldn't do on any other framerate. You had to have EXCATLY 125 for that.
To move faster, was strafing against the wall while pushing forward Wink

Heh and the same Quake-engine foibles also migrated to CoD as well... with 125fps you can jump an extra few pixels higher in the MW titles Very Happy

I mean hold W and D (or A) while walking against a wall to your right (or left), that makes you move faster on any fps Wink

Reached the so called "Green" zone earlier, game crashed once so far but it's probably my fault somehow, funny how you start in the "Yellow" zone and then go to the "Green" zone but in the game it makes sense since there's more activity in that one plus more of a military presence.

Still haven't done all that many story missions (About four or so in this current zone only.) and still exploring and doing other stuff, game is also getting more challenging and varied which is nice.

I like all the little random comments that enemies and your character can spurt out at different situations such as depending on what you attack with they get freaked out with stuff like "We're being attacked by tentacles" or "Dude has a sword the size of a surf board" and so on, one of the more infiltration based missions also had the accompanying soldiers wonder if my character had been working out when I lifted up a rocket pod from a fallen helicopter. Very Happy
(Or how your character complains about having to dress up into these different forms.)

Still no performance problems either, some of the side missions can be a bit repetitive also since they're pretty much alike in one of several different types of missions but ramp up difficulty little by little.
(Clear out a lair, grab all the packages in a given time, kill all enemies, consume that or this person and a few others, RADNet challenges are a bit more varied though but I've not done that many of them.)

EDIT: Upgrade system is rather nice too, can jump nearly 300% higher now and run 50% faster due to upgrading movement and some of the mutations (Perks basically.) give all sorts of nice benefits though you have to work to earn those.

EDIT: Red zone now and I made it to the highest point in the game but there was nothing of interest there. Very Happy

You got me. I defend bf3 the best looking shooter out there . Oooops too bad you failed since .bf3s gameplay is superawesome.

And thanks I also got a680 so I expect games to look better than a ps2 shit game considering agnis ... watchdogs... unreal engine 4 and star wars 1313 all ran on my card.

The daddy insult is also getting old bro. All shit I own I bought myself tyvm.

I'm also curious of what games are out there with pretty graphics and shitty gameplay. Can't seem to think of any right now.

LOL. FF XIV looks horrible and has horrible gameplay, completely bogus.

About crysis 2, maybe, although it's your personal opinion that the gameplay is shitty. Compared to the first? Maybe... As a game taken by itself? No.

Finished the story, seems the progress percentage counter was for everything and not just the story missions, about 70% completion overall which is good enough. Very Happy

I guess if you only focus on the missions the game would be around ten hours or so, can probably double that for those trying to do everything due to the amount of exploration that is required and the various side mission archetypes that have to be completed. Smile

Liked the conclusion of the game too even if the story isn't all that strong but the game play is fun enough to compensate though I guess many would also find it a bit repetitive and boring after playing it for longer amounts of time.

EDIT: Hax. Razz
