Aftermath, aww yeah
Quote: |
DICE and EA have revealed the first details of the fourth Battlefield 3 expansion pack, Aftermath.
The expansion pack will be “set amongst the shattered districts, streets and surrounding villages of a post-earthquake Tehran Battlefield 3: Aftermath depicts a continuing struggle for supremacy and survival amongst the devastation,” reads Battlefield 3′s Aftermath official promotional page, as it was announced at E3.
DICE added, “With operational capacity severely compromised the opposing forces must adapt and engage in vertical and horizontal urban combat amongst the dust and rubble with cracks and fissures in the terrain providing unexpected cover and paths to objectives. Additional support comes in the form of heavily modified troop transports and civilian vehicles specially adapted to deliver deadly force to the enemy.”
Key Features
Urban warfare on four new maps
Fight through the dust and rubble, use the earthquake damaged terrain to your tactical advantage
New heavily modified military and civilian vehicles – ingenuity and firepower combined
New game mode
New assignments, achievements and dog tags
Update: It’s unknown whether Aftermath will pack in new weapons as well since another promotional page lists new weapons as one of the expansion pack’s features.
4 new maps
New weapons
New vehicles
and more
Aftermath is expected to release in December 2012 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Also, a bit of info about the new tank(s) and mobile artillery
Quote: | When asked about some of the new vehicles, such as the tank destroyer and mobile artillery, Fegraeus first explained that the new tank destroyer vehicles will feature more firepower and mobility then the bulkier MBT, but in exchange for less armor.
As for the mobile artillery, it will feature long range fighting capability and decent firepower, but it will pale in comparision with the other vehicles in terms of armor and mobility. In order to rain down missiles, the mobile artillery will have to be stationary, which will also make it a big target if it is not a considerable distance away from all the action.
In addition to more vehicles being included in Armored Kill, DICE will also be adding an array of upgrades which can be used with the vehicles currently found in the game. |
Intel i7 6700K, RTX470 Super, Kingston HyperX Fury 32GB

Interesting..there are some vehicles too, which means that maps won't be that small. I'm thinking maybe something similar to Grand Bazaar/Seine

i see they are describing surrounding villages as a set for the DLC too , so maybe one of em will be set in a suburb village or something which means more open space.

for everyone who needs bf3 premium kinda cheap and without any risk (37 euros):
go to pcgames.de, get your 20% gamesload voucher (just enter your name and emailadress), go to gamesload where bf3premium is already 6% off, create account and buy that with entering your code of course

I'm abit worried about the new stuff you get to the old vehicles...they feel kind of op'd already as it is so I don't want them to slaughter the infantry even more.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

You're doing it wrong mate, the 10+ indicates the free slots, not the servers with more than 10 players
Try 1-5 and be amazed
