That's my save collection, up to and including the end of Episode 1 (I haven't started Ep2 yet), and Carley was my survivor choice .. though I probably made other choices that you didn't, so check the save before continuing.

It's just perfect! We chose more less the same.Thank you big time.
I killed off Carly in E01, she was the more sympathetic and fleshed out character and thats why she had to die. Doug was mostly a blank sheet. Besides there is already an armed wench in the group, and with Glenn gone the band would have been utterly devoid of geeks. And it was worthwhile, I was very happy with how Doug turned out in E02.
This is gonna surpass the series, because such a character focus is perfect for an adventure game with lots of dialogue and decisions, while it is just standard fare for TV shows now.
No wonder Darabont left, if you're gonna reduce the show to the characters and leave out all the overarching lore you'll get a..well...reduced show.
Episode 2 was fantastic, but it was also hilariously clichéd I pegged the "twist" the second they showed up at the motel and that was a damned shame as the rest of the episode was fantastic. I really do enjoy the character development and growth and you actually agonise over decisions, worrying about the consequences and what the fallout will be ---sometimes I've not felt in a game for a long, long time.
Yes, you could see it from a mile away but the execution was so well that it still felt tense and kinda fresh. I really did not expect such high quality from Telltale.
One nice detail was this - in Ep1 when Clem asked me about the smell in Hershel's stable I chose the second option and told her that animal dung is called manure.
In Ep2 the Dairy stables Duck asks the same question and she eagerly tells him about manure, only because I chose that answer in Ep1.
Both episodes have been full of great little touches like that, I'm thoroughly impressed with Telltale for actually getting the dynamic right and I'm REALLY looking forward to Ep3 now. My only annoyance was near the end of Ep2;
Spoiler:
Kenny's actions are far too sporadic, especially his "friendship" with Lee. When he kills (I let him do it, heh) Larry, the conversation you have with Kenny near the end was just... meh! You have three options of which to say to Kenny and all three of them boil down to this;
"You're a cunt. Everyone will hate you - including me."
"You're a murderer. Everyone will hate you - including me."
"I'm not going to say anything, which you'll interpret as everyone hates you - including me"
That's hardly what I'd call a choice, two answers that tell him he's a cunt and one non-committal answer that he still interprets as Lee hating him. What about the option
"Well I don't agree with what you did, but I do know it was for the best and I'll back you" ??
Kenny then goes off on one about how I never take his side and how he's leaving... which is nonsense since I *always* sided with Kenny. I just didn't want to cave Larry's face in with a friggin' salt-lick
I got a sudden urge to play this. Should have bought it on Steam sale or when the cd key was for 10€. Too many games to play anyway, I think I can wait for winter.

I was kinda liking Kenny in episode 1, but in episode 2 I did not like him much. Didn't side with him at all. I fed his kid though.
I bought this on Steam when it was $15 and soooooo glad I did the first two episodes were fantastic! I feel like the choices you make actually make a difference like mentioned above - I know they can't make the stuff COMPLETELY different that would be way too ambitious but still even the little things help a lot. Can't wait for more!

Spoiler:
While I didnt agree with him, I still found Kenny's actions understandable from his point of view. And maybe it was because of how I treated him, but I didnt get the impression that I'm on really bad terms with him after e2.
I didnt side with him during the salt lick scene.
At the end of the episode in the woods he seemed rather conscience stricken. I chose the "You're no hero" option, basically telling him that "you're a nice guy but that just went too far, there will now be enmities in the group" and he looked at me and then went away. No arguing about leaving the group or not seeing each other anymore. Remember, when the farm guy attacked me he chickened out again, which I guess only added further to his guilt.
btw. when he says that you didnt side with him during the episode 1 argument about Duck, thats more or less a plot flag bug, cause it will be set to "sided with Larry" if you chose the reasoning option even if you explicitly sided with Kenny at the next dialogue option (I told the old fuck to shut up) Only if you chose the Kenny punch him option it gets flagged as "sided with Kenny")
Kenny: Hon, go on ahead and give me and Lee a second.
Kenny: There's gonna be Fallout.
Lee: For killing Lilly's dad? Yeah..I imagine so.
Kenny: What do you think?
Lee: You're no hero. You destroyed two lives in that Meat Locker.
*Kenny walks away, then stops..
Lee: Kenny you're not a bad man. But fuck..what the hell are we going to do now?
*Kenny turns back and keeps walking away
You can watch it here in 1 hour, because the lines got damaged in a lightning strike and now my upstream is about 7kb/s

Nah, just want to show you how exactly it played out for me.
Maybe I made some better dialogue choices, was friends with Kenny after E1 and I somehow managed to appease both Lilly and Kenny in E2 and this might got the system to skip that bit with Kenny complaining.
You will notice what seems like a sudden cut in the video.
Ultimately it might not matter though, because you cant expect the game to remember all those tiny variables over the course of 5 episodes.
Very impressive, a unique game. I don't understand why the textures have to be so shitty, but I can live with it. I'll probably buy this when they finish the season.

It's mostly laziness, but also because they wanted to keep the "stylized" style and the fact that they're XBLA/PSN games
well they could have kept the "style" but with better graphics overall imo , Borderlands1&2 for ex , it's kinda disappointing with such great facial animations combined with the voice acting and all .
Why do you guys have problem with graphics?Seriously i like the way they choose.Well it could be better but this is also fine. What i know, developers chose this kind of stylized graphics just because they want to fit it with comic books' atmosphere. So far so good...
I'm not talking about the style, I like it. Textures look like shit, that's the problem. I didn't know it was a PSN game though, explains the shitty keyboard controls.
1. I cut off David's leg.
2. I didn't shoot Jolene.
3. I was a fraction of a second too late and Clementine ate a bite of the meat
4. I helped Lily try to save her dad.
5. I spared Danny.
6. I spared Andy.
7. I took the supplies from the car, but I also managed to convince Clementine that it was "acceptable" and gave her the jacket.
All in all, it was a very VERY good episode and even though the "twist" wasn't a surprise, the episode itself was still great.
Twist was predictable, even from the trailer, but that's not the point. The point is, how a once proud family devolved, and how such an apocalypse would change people. Sure, it wasn't deep in an existentialist philosophy kind of way, but it was good for a game. I liked it, and ep 2 was better imho than ep 1.
I personally thought how they handled it was very unimaginative. It was a textbook script, nothing was remotely surprising to me. It was fun, but I expected a lot more after ep1, which positively surprised me.
